As a fellow german, there is the option to get around that. The games are not legally banned in germany, steam just doesn't advertise them because they would need to go through a lot of legal hoops to be allowed to do so. What you can do though, is (if you trust the website, so far no issues for me) go to steamdb.info You'll find all the games including the adult ones there, where you can wishlist your game and then are able to purchase it even in germany. It's inconvenient but might be worth telling people about.

Thanks, yes, we know very well the markets. For Germany we will keep alternative stores such as Itch io, for Japan we will provide a censored and translated version.

Highly excited! It's nice to see all the progress. I was skeptical about the ambitiousness of the project back in the early stages, but not anymore :)
