"My dears," Urataros announced, his voice carrying through the group, "I believe we've earned a delightful repast."
A chorus of agreement erupted. The women clamored to secure the best seats, each eager to be closest to Urataros. He chuckled, basking in the attention. Inside Ace's mind, a sense of unease brewed.
This is getting out of hand, Urataros, Ace thought, picturing the bill he'd have to pay later. We need to wrap this up.
"Patience, Ace," Urataros replied, his focus on the menu. "A true connoisseur knows that the prelude is as important as the main course."
The meal was a whirlwind of laughter, compliments, and shared appetizers. Urataros made sure to give each woman equal attention, flitting between conversations and offering charming anecdotes. The other patrons watched with a mixture of envy and amusement. A group of salarymen at a nearby table glared, their wives giggling at Urataros's antics.
He's just so...effortless, one whispered, earning a sharp elbow from her husband.
As the afternoon waned, Urataros led his entourage to a karaoke bar. The women cheered, already selecting their favorite love songs. Ace groaned internally. He imagined the damage that would be done to his vocal cords and his wallet.
Urataros grabbed the microphone, his eyes twinkling. "For my lovely audience," he crooned, launching into a heartfelt ballad. The women swooned, their voices joining in a harmonious chorus. Ace closed his eyes, surrendering to the chaos. He knew he'd have a lot of explaining to do to Ami later. But for now, he was trapped in Urataros's whirlwind of charm and karaoke.
The karaoke bar's door swung open, spilling Urataros and his entourage onto the neon-lit street. The women, giddy with sake and song, linked arms and giggled.
[RUMBLE]
A low tremor shook the ground. Screams echoed from down the block. The women, startled, huddled together. Urataros merely adjusted his glasses.
"Oh my, what's all this commotion?" he drawled, feigning disinterest.
Rounding the corner came a sight that shattered any pretense of calm. An eight-foot behemoth of scales and muscle rampaged through the street. The humanoid dinosaur, bald and reptilian, grabbed cars like toys, flipping them into the air with casual disregard. Metal crunched, glass shattered, and alarms blared.
The women shrieked, their earlier bravado gone. They clung to Urataros, seeking protection.
"Don't worry, ladies," Urataros said, his voice smooth. "Everything will be fine. Leave this to me."
Inside Ace's head, Momotaros roared. "A fight! Finally! What are you waiting for, Ace? That dinosaur jerk is asking for it!"
Ace wrestled for control. No, Momo, hold on. I can't just transform in front of all these people. My identity...
He glanced at the women, their faces etched with terror. If that monster continued unchecked, they could get seriously hurt, maybe even killed.
But if I transform here, now... it's too risky.
"Come on, Ace, don't be a chicken!" Momotaros taunted. "Those women are counting on you! Are you gonna let them down?"
Damn it, Momo, you're not helping!
Urataros's voice cut through the mental chaos. "Senpai is right, Ace. People are in danger, and if we wait too long, they will get hurt. This isn't New York, we don't know what kind of threat that thing is."
The dinosaur creature bellowed, tearing a lamppost from its base and hurling it towards a fleeing crowd. Ace's resolve hardened. There was no choice.
Ace bit back his words. He had been about to tell Urataros to find a secluded spot, some alleyway where they could transform without drawing attention. But before he could get the sentence out, the ground shook again, harder this time. Everyone looked up, and Ace’s jaw dropped.
A giant foot descended from the sky, connecting squarely with the dinosaur villain's jaw. The behemoth was sent sprawling, crashing through a storefront with a resounding [KRA-SHUNK].
Silence hung in the air for a heartbeat, then a collective gasp rippled through the crowd. Above them, impossibly tall, stood Mt. Lady.
Mt. Lady's costume is a skintight purple and cream suit with orange stripes, accentuating her colossal figure. The domino mask, adorned with horn-like protrusions, added a touch of playful menace. Her blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders in voluminous waves, framing a face that oozed confidence. She was every bit the celebrity hero Ace had read about.
"Sorry for the wait, everyone!" she boomed, striking a pose that was less heroic and more…suggestive. "I'm Mt. Lady, and I'm here to save the day! Get used to it, because I'm gonna be HUGE!"
The men around immediately pulled out their phones, cameras clicking and whirring. Several had high-definition cameras, their lenses trained on Mt. Lady's every curve.
"Whoa," Ryutaros said, his voice hushed. "That lady is HUGE."
"What? Who is that?!" Momotaros screamed in Ace's head.
Calm down, Momotaros, Ace thought, a strange mix of annoyance and resignation swirling within him. "That's Mt. Lady. A relatively new Pro Hero. She just debuted recently."
He remembered seeing her on the news, stealing the spotlight from Kamui Woods. Flashy, powerful, and already with a legion of fans drawn to her…assets.
"She's already garnered a lot of fans because of her flashiness and 'beauty'," Ace said aloud, rolling his eyes.
Urataros, however, seemed quite interested. "Well, well," he purred. "A Pro Hero with such…generous proportions. I think I'd like to reel her in."
Ace sighed. "Forget it, Urataros. Getting close to a Pro Hero is a bad idea. It risks exposing our identities as Kamen Riders. You know, our secret identities?"
Urataros chuckled, a low, mischievous sound. "But that's the thrill of it, isn't it? A little danger, a little intrigue…"
Ace just shook his head.
Mt. Lady flexed her fingers, the ground trembling slightly as she shrank back to normal size. The dinosaur villains were securely bound, awaiting transport.
She gave the crowd a dazzling smile and a wave. As her eyes scanned the onlookers, they briefly met Ace's—or rather, Urataros's. The Imagin lowered his glasses, a seductive wink flashing across his face. Mt. Lady's cheeks flushed pink. She shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips, and muttered, "Smooth, but I still have a job to do."
She stretched languidly and turned away. "Gotta run, folks! Gotta keep Musutafu safe!" With another wink and a final pose for the cameras, she leaped into the air, soaring off towards the next crisis.
Ace watched her go, a sense of foreboding settling in his stomach. Oh boy… he thought, already dreading the fallout from Urataros's flirtatious antics. He knew that Mt. Lady was just going to become a problem in the future.
Ace shakes his head, trying to regain control as Urataros continues his smooth-talking routine with Mt. Lady. Okay, that's enough, Urataros, Ace says. We're going back to the café.
"Aww, but I was just getting started," Urataros retorts, his voice dripping with playful disappointment. "Besides, a hero like that? I could write a whole book on how to woo her."
Ace ignores the comment and focuses, wrestling back control of his body. The blue streak fades from his hair, and the stylish glasses vanish. We have work to do, Urataros. We can't just go around causing trouble and flirting with Pro Heroes.
"Trouble? Flirting?" Urataros scoffs. "Please, I was doing them a favor. Everyone loves a little charm."
…
Meanwhile, in a wealthy district of Musutafu, an elegant house stands as a beacon of affluence. Inside, a 50-year-old woman sits before a vanity mirror, meticulously applying makeup. She's taken great care of herself, and it shows; she looks younger than her age.
"Beautiful," she whispers to herself, carefully lining her lips with crimson lipstick. But as she examines her reflection, a frown creases her brow. She sees the subtle signs of aging creeping in — the faint lines around her eyes, the slight sag of her jawline. "Not enough," she mutters. "I need to be more beautiful."
Suddenly, a shimmering orb of light pierces through the window and slams into her. She gasps, clutching her chest as a strange sensation washes over her. Sand begins to pour from her pores, cascading onto the vanity.
"What is happening?!" she cries, her voice laced with panic.
From the sand, a figure begins to materialize. It takes shape slowly, rising from the heap of golden grains until a humanoid form stands before her. The woman recoils in terror as the Imagin solidifies, its eyes glowing with an eerie light.
"Want is your wish," the Imagin says, its voice a raspy whisper. "Speak it and I will grant it."
