"Holy cannoli, I'm ripped!" Harley exclaimed, flexing her spiked pauldrons. Her voice was rougher, louder, as if amplified by some internal amplifier. She felt a surge of raw power coursing through her veins, a stark contrast to the purely chaotic energy she was used to.
Toga wiggled her fingers, marveling at her new form. "I'm so tall! And my legs...they go on forever!" She ran her hands down her slender, magenta-clad thighs, a predatory gleam in her eyes. It was like a supermodel and a bird had a baby.
Harley turned to Shadow, or rather, Inu Brother. "Well, ain't you a cute little pooch? Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" She reached out to scratch him behind his pointy ears, but he recoiled with a snarl.
"I am not a 'pooch,'" Shadow growled, his voice a low, menacing rumble. "I am the ultimate life form."
Toga giggled, pointing at Hank. "Look at you! You're a gorilla!"
Hank straightened his back, puffing out his chest with a huff. "Actually, I believe the correct term is Japanese macaque. There is a distinct difference, my dear." He cleared his throat, striking a thoughtful pose. "Though I must admit, the fur is rather... fetching."
Hank focused his gaze on Harley, noting the horns protruding from her helmet. "Given the... cranial protrusions and the overall aesthetic, I surmise your new form is based on the Japanese concept of an Oni?"
Harley reached up, touching the horns with a curious grin. "Huh, Oni. Fits, don't it? A little bit of devilish chaos never hurt nobody!" she chuckled,
Suddenly, a booming laugh echoed across the stadium. "AHAHAHAHA! It is good to see you all are ready, companions!" Taro cried, his voice filled with mirth. "Now! Follow me! We have enemies to face!"
Enemies? Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga exchanged bewildered glances. What were they up against?
As if on cue, a swarm of grotesque figures materialized around the Baseball Hitotsuki. They were the Anoni, creatures born from the Noto. Their bodies were covered in shiny, segmented exoskeletons, primarily in shades of gray and silver. Compound eyes glinted menacingly from beneath prominent horns, and sharp mandibles clicked together in anticipation of violence. Each Anoni wielded a large, heavy hammer, their exoskeletal arms twitching with anticipation. They looked like insect bodybuilders who just stumbled out of a rave.
"What in the Sam Hill are those things?" Harley asked, brandishing her baseball bat, ready to swing.
"Let's go!" Taro yelled, breaking into a sprint. He charged towards the Baseball Hitotsuki, his Zanglassword gleaming in the setting sun. "Peachy!"
Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga hesitated for only a moment before following Taro into the fray. Hank vaulted over a row of seats, landing with a ground-shaking thud. Harley let out a whoop of delight, twirling her bat like a majorette before charging headfirst into the Anoni swarm. Shadow moved with a calculated precision, his movements blurring as he weaved through the enemy ranks. Toga flapped her magenta skirt, giggling with excitement as she soared into the air.
Taro engaged the Baseball Hitotsuki, their weapons clashing with explosive force. The Hitotsuki swung its mitt-like hand, sending chunks of the pitcher's mound flying through the air. Taro dodged with ease, retaliating with swift, precise strikes of his Zanglassword.
Meanwhile, Saru, Oni, Inu, and Kiji were suddenly assaulted by the Anoni. They had expected to be able to test out their new abilities in a slow, methodical way, but instead were thrown into the deep end. The first few seconds of the attack were filled with a bit of panic.
Hank, despite his initial shock, quickly recovered. He lowered his posture, his blue fur bristling with energy. The intellect of Dr. Henry Philip McCoy combined with the primal strength of Saru Brother resulted in something truly unique. "Observe!" he exclaimed, slamming his fists into the ground.

A tremor shot through the earth, knocking several Anoni off balance. The seismic wave Hank generated synergized perfectly with Saru Brother's brute strength, creating a devastating shockwave. The insectoids stumbled, their hammers clattering uselessly on the concrete. "Interesting...very interesting indeed. It appears my mutant physiology interfaces quite well with this new form," Hank mused, already formulating a dozen new combat strategies.
Harley, meanwhile, was getting pummeled by three Anoni at once. She blocked a blow with her bat, the impact jarring her teeth. "Okay, okay, these guys ain't playin' around!" she said, dodging another swing. "Hey, Taro! Do we get any cool toys to play with, or are we stuck with nothin' but our good looks?"
As if answering her question, a large object materialized on her back. She reached behind her, her fingers brushing against something rough and metallic. "What the...?!"
She pulled the object off her back, revealing a Full Kanabō. It was nearly as tall as she was, the shaft a vibrant, caution yellow that caught the light. The club head and spikes were a matte silver-gray, giving it a rugged, steel-like look. Twenty-two removable side spikes were fastened with small pegs, and a large top spike enhanced the weapon's already menacing silhouette. The handle was black and textured, long enough for a two-handed grip.
Harley's eyes widened, a manic grin spreading across her face. "Mama likey!" she said, hefting the weapon with surprising ease. An Anoni charged at her, hammer raised, but Toga tripped, falling towards the ground. "Ah!" she screamed, bracing for impact.
Suddenly, Shadow appeared before her, firing a volley of shots from his Donblaster, obliterating the insectoid. He then grabbed Toga's arm, pulling her back to her feet. "Maintain your focus," he said, his voice devoid of emotion.
Toga's face flushed with a mix of gratitude and embarrassment. "Thank you! Doggy-chan!" she said, giving him a playful wink.
Shadow merely scoffed, turning away with a dismissive "Hmph." He may have saved her, but that didn't mean he was going to be friendly about it. The ultimate life form had a reputation to uphold, after all.
Taro danced around the Sports Hitotsuki, Zanglassword singing through the air. The Hitotsuki roared, windmilling its oversized mitt, sending a shower of dirt and broken baseballs everywhere.
Taro, seemingly unfazed, slid under one of the monstrous swings and then leapt onto the Hitotsuki's back. With a yell, he began slapping the Hitotsuki with the flat of his blade like he was spanking a naughty child. Each slap echoed with a resounding "BWAP!" as a cartoonish cloud of dust puffed out of the Hitotsuki.
The Hitotsuki flailed wildly, trying to dislodge Taro, spinning like a top. Taro, somehow maintaining his grip, began singing a children's song.
The Hitotsuki stopped spinning, looking bewildered. "Greatest pitch..." it groaned, clutching its head. "Cannot... concentrate..."
Taro grinned, leaping off the Hitotsuki and landing in a heroic pose. He spun his sword and pointed it at the Hitotsuki. "Time for a home run!" he yelled, though it sounded more like a suggestion.
The Donblaster reappeared in Taro's hand. He inserted a gear and spun the top. "Alter Change!"
[Yo~! Donbur~ako! Donbur~ako!]
Taro aimed the Donblaster skyward. His body went limp, as if his soul had been yanked out. From above, a tiny metal peach materialized, its surface gleaming. The peach opened, unfolding into a humanoid mecha.
[Don Momotaro! Hey yo! Tenka Ichi!]
It stood at a compact fifteen centimeters tall, broad shoulders and slender limbs creating a samurai-mecha silhouette. Matte red armor dominated, accented by black joints and details. Green boots served as a whimsical base, a gold emblem emblazoned on its chest like a peach stone. In its hand, it held a mini Zanglassword.
Hank paused his battle against the Anoni, his fur furrowing with concern. "Did...did he just faint?" he asked, looking at the inert Taro.
Harley stared at the limp body. "What the heck? Did he, like, short-circuit or somethin'?" she asked, puzzled.
Shadow narrowed his crimson eyes. "He seems to be still breathing."
Toga tilted her head, looking up at the sky. "Ooh! What is that thing?"
The tiny Don Momotaro Alter hovered in the air for a moment, then shot forward with surprising speed. "HAHAHAHA! Let's do this!" it yelled, the high-pitched voice echoing with unbridled glee.
The Baseball Hitotsuki barely had time to react as Don Momotaro Alter zipped around it like a hyperactive hummingbird. The miniature sword flashed, leaving trails of light in its wake. It was almost impossible to track with the naked eye.
The Hitotsuki swung its massive mitt, attempting to swat the tiny mech out of the air, but Don Momotaro Alter was too quick. It dodged each attack with ease, its small size proving to be a major advantage.
"Greatest pitch! Greatest pitch!" the Hitotsuki roared, growing increasingly frustrated.
Don Momotaro Alter, with speed that belied his size, danced around the Baseball Hitotsuki. Then, with a burst of speed, he sliced at the monster.

The tiny blade left sparks in its wake. Don Momotaro Alter zipped to the other side of the monster and continued his assault.
The Hitotsuki stumbled, its movements becoming sluggish. It looked down at itself, bewildered, as baseball stitches began to unravel from its grotesque flesh.

Don Momotaro Alter stood perched on top of the monster’s head. He raised his sword and grinned. "It's showtime!"
Another [SLICE!] rang out as Don Momotaro Alter brought the monster to its knees. Suddenly, the miniature mech vanished in a flash of light, returning to his unmoving body.
To the shock of the others, Taro stood up straight, stretching with a yawn. "My companions, the finishing technique."
Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga stared at the delivery man, confusion etched on their faces. This was so different than fighting in their own respective worlds. "Uh...what finishing technique?" Harley blurted.
Taro simply pointed, an expectant look on his face. "Over there. Quickly, now."
He gestured towards four corners of the baseball field, where strange contraptions had appeared. Each device had a handle and glowed with an inner light. It was like something out of a carnival.
With a shrug, the team did as they were told. Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga each moved towards a corner. As they reached their respective devices, they saw what looked like gears built into the side.
"Are we doing this right?" Harley wondered aloud, grabbing a handle.
Shadow glanced at her before firmly grasping his handle. "There is only one way to find out." He then started turning it.
Beneath Taro’s feet, a platform began to rise, forming a Torii gate. It was all very dramatic. Taro, now elevated, held his Zanglassword aloft and began to spin the gear near the hilt, round and round.

The world around them twisted and warped. The stadium lights flickered, plunging the scene into near darkness. Only the faint glow of Taro’s Zanglassword cut through the gloom. Harley, Hank, Shadow, and Toga could barely see each other, let alone the Baseball Hitotsuki.
"Uh...Taro? What's happening?" Harley called, her voice echoing.
They didn't get an answer.
Instead, they understood what they needed to do.
Instinct took over, their hands rising. The barrels of the Donblasters glowed.
"Hissatsu Ōgi!" Taro yelled, his figure hidden from view.
Then, in a coordinated burst, Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga fired their Donblasters. Beams of energy streaked through the dark, converging on the Baseball Hitotsuki. At the same time, Taro, a blur of motion, slashed through the monster with his Zanglassword, his figure illuminated with each strike.

The Baseball Hitotsuki, battered and weakened, couldn't withstand the combined assault. With a final, agonized roar, it exploded, erupting into a shower of light. It was like a pyrotechnic show.
"Don-Don-Donbrothers!" Hank, Harley, Shadow, and Toga shout as the Hitotsuki explodes.
Taro emerged from the darkness, resting his Zanglassword over his shoulders with a satisfied grin.
Oni Sister and Kiji Sister exchanged high-fives, pleased that they had been an important part of that epic defeat. Back at S.O.N.G. headquarters, Genjuro, Ryoko, Tsubasa, Kanade, Aoi, and Sakuya breathed a collective sigh of relief. It seemed the crisis had been averted.
But Taro sensed something was amiss. This battle, this performance, was not over. He took a few deliberate steps backward from the spot where the Sports Hitotsuki had fallen. As he did, the spectral flames that had consumed its body suddenly flared up, shooting skyward. The flames twisted, coalesced, and then exploded outward.
Before them stood the Baseball Hitotsuki, resurrected and now towering over forty meters tall. The Donbrothers gaped, astonishment etched on their faces, all except Momotaro, who remained impassive.
At S.O.N.G. HQ, Aoi gasped, while Sakuya quickly reviewed data, eyes wide. Ryoko's eyebrows rose in scientific intrigue, and Genjuro braced himself. Tsubasa gripped her sword, ready to move, and Kanade reached out to place a calming hand on her shoulder. This sudden growth was outside of their expertise.
Harley stared up, craning her neck. "Well, ain't this a pickle," she muttered, her earlier glee replaced by wary amusement. "Guess we didn't quite knock it out of the park."
Toga's usual cheerful facade cracked. "Ehhh?! It got even bigger!?" she squeaked, grabbing onto Shadow's arm for support. "What do we do now?"
Hank, ever the pragmatist, narrowed his eyes, assessing the situation. "Indeed, a complication. Given our current...stature, direct engagement would be unwise. Perhaps a strategic retreat to reassess...?"
He didn't get to finish. Taro, standing firm, raised a hand, cutting off any further debate. "Leaving it to me!" he declared, his voice ringing with unwavering confidence. A new gear materialized in his hand, and he was ready for what was to come.
He inserted the golden gear into his Donblaster.

Taro leapt onto the Superbike Enya Rideon, revving the engine. The bike roared to life, bathed in an ethereal glow. He weaved through the rubble, maneuvering the bike expertly. He pulled alongside JuranTyranno. Then, with a burst of speed, he shot off the ramp and into the air, soaring high above the stadium. As he did so, Rideon expanded, becoming the same size as JuranTyranno.

The motorcycle flipped and spun, glowing brighter, as it disassembled mid-air. Various engine blocks and components flew apart, aligning with the dinosaur's form. JuranTyranno bellowed, folding itself inward. Plates shifted and locked as the two mecha transformed into a single entity. The head of the Rideon became the head of a new form.

The dust settled, revealing DonZenkaiOh. Matte red armor covered its body, accented by black joints. Before any of them could respond, a blinding flash of light enveloped them. Then, nothing. The baseball field returned to its pre-battle state, with nothing to indicate a gargantuan fight took place. The unconscious Kenji was there and that was it. The others disappeared.
Hank found himself back in his lab at the X-Mansion. Beakers bubbled, monitors glowed, and the air hummed with the gentle thrum of scientific instruments. He stared at his blue fur, a lingering feeling of power tingling through his body. He reached for his glasses, adjusting them on his nose. "Curiouser and curiouser," he muttered, already formulating new theories about the nature of the encounter.
Harley landed back at Poison Ivy's hideout, a botanical sanctuary amidst the urban decay of Gotham. Vines snaked along the walls, exotic flowers bloomed in vibrant hues, and the air was thick with the scent of chlorophyll and pollen.
Ivy, who had been pacing anxiously, rushed toward her. "Harley! Where did you go? You just vanished!" Concern was evident in her usually cool and collected voice.
Harley, still buzzing from the battle, grinned. "Oh, Red, you wouldn't believe the day I just had! I became a Power Ranger! I got a big hammer and beat up bug people!" And she started recounting her amazing adventure, waving her arms.
Shadow reappeared within the G.U.N. compound, precisely where he had been standing before the battle. Immediately, red lights flashed, alarms blared, and armed agents swarmed his location. They had been tracking his every movement since his sudden disappearance, and now they weren't about to let him slip away again.
"Shadow the Hedgehog, you are under arrest! Surrender immediately!" a voice boomed through the compound's loudspeakers.
Shadow snarled, his crimson eyes burning with defiance. He wasn't going to be caged again. Not after experiencing a taste of freedom, not after the battle. He wouldn't let them dissect him, study him, use him as a weapon. Not again.
With a burst of speed, he broke through the cordon of agents, unleashing Chaos Spears to disable their weapons. He spun, fighting his way to the surface. He wasn't interested in harming them, so he just incapacitated. Agent after agent fell under the quick attacks from the Ultimate Life Form. Dodging lasers, he reached the outside. He’s free.
Toga found herself back in the dingy alleyway where she had been moments before. A teenager, her next target, stood cowering, his eyes wide with terror. But something had shifted inside her. She glanced at the boy, and then scoffed. She just met people in the chat group, making her giddy with excitement. She remembered the high of the fight and the sensation of a new form. She just wanted to be with her new friends. She sighed, the violent impulse fading, replaced by a strange sense of longing.
She let the teenager go, her usual manic grin replaced by a softer, almost wistful smile. "Go on, get out of here," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "I'm not in the mood anymore."
As the boy scrambled away, Toga gazed at the sky, a newfound hope blossoming in her heart. She had a feeling she would see her companions again soon.
