There's a lot of interesting cartoons out there having Dexter's Laboratory involved with them could be really interesting

Either of the cartoon verse options sounds interesting. I think I'd lean towards the Powerpuff one. Dexter's genius might be too overpowered for an insert character. The Powerpuff girls are overpowered too but Dexter could invent something to solve basically any problem.
