The crew scrambled backwards, pressing themselves against the office walls as the dark energy swirled and grew, enveloping the sphere in a cocoon of inky blackness.
"What's happening?" Arlo cried, his earlier composure shattered. "Mira, what is that thing?"
Mira shook her head, her hand moving to her own weapon. "I don't know. We found it in a debris field. It was inert until now."
The dark energy continued to expand, filling the office with an oppressive, almost living darkness. The air grew thick and heavy, making it difficult to breathe.
Dex, his face pale with fear, whispered, "Captain, I think we should get out of here."
Before Mira could respond, the swirling energy began to take shape. It grew larger, towering over them, its form solidifying into something monstrous and alien.
As the darkness receded, they found themselves face to face with a colossal insectoid creature. Its body was covered in a thick, chitinous exoskeleton, and massive, antler-like pincers framed its head. Suddenly, a brilliant beam of magnetic energy shot forth from between Antlar's pincers. The beam struck one of the GINNs, instantly magnetizing its metal frame. They drew their heavy swords, the blades glinting in the artificial light of the colony as they charged towards Antlar. But the Kaiju's reflexes were lightning-fast. It swatted two GINNs out of the air with its pincers, sending them crashing into nearby buildings.

Antlar retaliated with another blast of its magnetic beam, this time sweeping it across the battlefield. The ZAKU Warriors found themselves being pulled inexorably towards the monster, their pilots struggling against the overwhelming magnetic force. Several mobile suits collided mid-air, exploding in brilliant fireballs that rained debris onto the streets below.
A lone ZAKU Warrior, piloted by a particularly skilled ace, managed to evade the magnetic beam. The pilot pushed their mobile suit to its limits, weaving through the air and closing in on Antlar. With a burst of its thrusters, the ZAKU Warrior raised its beam axe, aiming for a vulnerable spot between the Kaiju's armor plates.
But Antlar was ready. Just as the ZAKU Warrior was about to strike, the monster's pincers snapped shut around the mobile suit. The pilot's scream was cut short as Antlar crushed the ZAKU Warrior like a tin can, its destroyed remains falling to the ground in a shower of sparks and twisted metal.
As the battle raged on, the destruction spread further through the colony. Antlar's rampage left a swath of devastation in its wake. Buildings crumbled, infrastructure collapsed, and fires broke out across the commercial district. Emergency services were overwhelmed, struggling to evacuate civilians and tend to the wounded amidst the ongoing chaos.
