Reminds me of normcore (think it's called that) Someday in the far future, there is a possibility (not saying that it will happen because we only understand 10% of genetics RN. Honestly, we just don't even know if certain things are even possible or impossible yet) that in order to stand out you might very well revert to a normal human after everyone else has customized themselves to look like their favorite fantasy creature.
