if the mechanic is late, you complain. if the plumber is late, you complain. if you can see on the game that it is longer and so late, then people will reconcile. but if the update will be as big as the last time, then the question will be rightly asked: why does it take one and a half times as long?

I think it's only natural for people to be getting impatient. We all want to play the next update. It just points to how much of a success the game is that we can't wait to see what's next. I just think making demands and adding pressure on Stoper to rush will not help. It will just lead to an inferior product. As a great game developer once said, 'a delayed game can eventually become great but a rushed will forever be bad', or something like that.

After I missed my deadline I decided to expand the scene and add more branches and animation. The initial plan was to have two branches and two animations, it ended up more complex and has 4 animations on the various paths inside the scene. I just should not have given any deadlines before the final scene is ready. I certainly won't do it in the future.

thats why i said "basically" and not the "exact" same thing, now if u really wanna talk about this then tell me how did it come from dead or alive august to maybe September isnt safe and now October is also not safe. to be honest I don't know why there's such a long delay, my guess is its something personal and thats fine, but please don't come here throwing promises like "august dead or alive" and then not make it 3 months AFTER THAT FUCKING DEADLINE because that just feels like u are messing with us intentionally

Yeah, because "I have to work on one more animation" and "the final animation is rendering" mean the exact same thing.

"And... oh yeah, the update. Working on the last images, and I have one animation to finish." (28th of September) . Rendering the final animation + few last images left (21st of October), so basically no change?

Rendering the final animation at the moment. After that I have to make several closing images and do the final work on the script and packaging.

the update will come right before Christmas so they have money for presents then it'll be another 6-8 months' wait.

that means no XD, just a normal 2-3 month delay, just a reminder the last update was 8+ months ago :)

A million dollar question that is. I'm neat the very end of the final scene, but I'm afraid to give any release projections. Soon is all I can say, whatever that means.
