Update for the week ending on 10-10-25
🕑 Added 2025-10-11 13:00:11 +0000 UTCA bit of a warning to those who join my stream, next week will be a short one. I am off for the holiday on Monday, then have my surgery on Thursday. I should be back home on Friday, but I won’t be writing.
Chapters written
This week was a regular one, so 3 chapters for Mind Your Step and 3 for The Technician’s Fight, all of them part of the Redux of Jeremy first hunt. There was also one chapter for the Daughter and Harker, as well as some stuff on the side taking place within the world of the Harker Project, but not being related to the academy itself that I’m calling ‘Crimson and Monster’. I’ll post that once the part I’m working on is done.

Other stuff
I have finally found an Ereader that I can use to do editing.
This might not seem like much to most, but I’m one of those weirdoes who enjoys reading it own works, so I’ll do that while on the toilet. Of course, my stuff is filled with mistakes, so each time I read something, I notice those and want to make notes so I can then refer to them so I can fix the master file.
The problem is that absolutely every Kindle I’ve ever used makes that clunky. I have to bring up a keyboard, then type the comment, which then vanishes and is impossible to find. The having to type isn’t conductive to making notes and not being able to transfer that to a computer not conductive to me fixing anything. Even Kindle Ereaders with stylus are no better.
But I found a Kobo that does it. Not only does it let me write on it with the stylus, in color, but there is then a file on the Kobo I can transfer to my computer and refer to so I can fix the master file. It only does it with PDFs, but those are my books, so compiling them in that format is simple.
