July Development Log II
🕑 Added 2023-08-01 17:10:00 +0000 UTCHey, guys! While I was resting from animations, I decided to do small tasks for the project.
Day Night Cycle
Increased the duration of the day by 2 times;
Recalculation of the formula of the sun's motion has been made, as well as minor bugs been fixed. The sun now rises and sets in the northeast/west, not the south;
Day/night transition is now smoother. Also fixed the glow of houses in the morning and evening;
Fixed the lighting multiplier, due to which the daylight was almost 2 times brighter than needed;
Fixed moonlight in houses in the evenings;
The starry sky is now moving over time;
Fixed recalculation of the brightness of the sun when the player enters the water. Now the light will not "blink" when entering/exiting the water;
Sounds
Fixed the sound of opening the chest if it is a bag;
Added sound when using the well;
Added the sound of the Lantern ignition when using and equipping;
Plants Collecting
Increased the duration of plant growth. Also, some plants will already be ready for collection at the time of the start of the game for the starting quests, due to an increase in the duration of growth;
Improved plant harvesting: The loss of additional ingredients depends on the Skill level, not on a random value. If the level is not enough, depending on the difference with the required level, the probability of collection is calculated;
Added a notification in case if it was not possible to collect the plant;
Now even an unsuccessful plant harvest will add experience to the Skill;
Crafting
Added sound effects when processing an ingredient;
Reduced too much experience when cooking a new recipe;
It's forbidden to cook "Tasteless Mass" from simple ingredients;
Added gaining experience even when crafting an item unsuccessfully;
Misc
Balanced the duration of hunger/thirst/sleep: hunger rate increased by 50%, thirst by 70%, sleep decreased by 10%;
Added a new Fatigue debuff. After intimacy, the character will receive this debuff, which does not allow the Act to be started for several game hours;
Added saving of the value of whether the lantern on the belt is lit or not;
Added hints when loading the game;

Added the effect of modifications on the cost and weight of items;
