Hit Registration
🕑 Added 2023-02-22 17:14:37 +0000 UTCHi! I want to show you a few changes in the Combat System. It's mostly edits from the code side, but I will start working on new animations soon.
What's new:
- Made a new smooth transition to/from battle mode;
- Due to the Inverse Kinematics, the character's hands will now always hit the centre of the screen;
- Added impacts on non-living surfaces with impact sounds and physics;
- Impacts affect physical objects, they can move and push them. The impact force depends on the Strength parameter;
- Added hit stop (hands) in front of objects and AI;
- Added the effect of slowing down a hit/character while hitting a surface/enemy. Also added camera shaking on hit impact;
