I know I said that I wanted to get the baby weight off, but you’re… Well, you. I haven’t even tried to hone my reflexes since I was first pregnant.” The black-haired woman gasped quietly as she felt a gloved hand on the upper portion of her back, causing her mind to race for just a moment until she saw blonde locks swaying in her vision. With a soft sigh, the blue-eyed woman adjusted the gloves on her hand.
“That’s why this is the perfect thing for you to do, Videl. Like it or not, your little girl is a saiyan like your husband. You will want her to learn to protect herself and be safe. And who better to teach her than her mother, the daughter of the world champion?” Android 18 giggled to herself at the thought of Hercule actually putting up a fight with any of the Z Warriors, knowing how easily he’d lose to even her own husband, Krillin. “I know you and Gohan will want her to be smart and to study just like Chi-Chi wanted for him, but better to be safe than sorry, right?” The blonde mother stepped into Videl’s field of view, a warm smile on her face as she stood in a black sports bra and blue training shorts that hugged her frame.
The black-haired woman was stunned silent for just a moment from the beauty that stood before her, her soft gaze traveling along Android 18’s body until she felt a finger on her forehead. “.... I guess you’re right… Besides, if I get back into training, at least a little bit, I’ll be able to help out more than just giving good wishes from home. Even if it’s only for the small fry.” Videl nodded and stood up, mentally readying herself for what was to come as she stood in a red sports bra and black shorts. “So, just a simple sparring match? No ki, no flying, no supersonic speeds, none of that?”
“Of course, Videl. I’ll play fair.” Android 18 smirked and walked to the boxing ring that was only a few feet away from the two of them, smiling as she stepped in and adjusted her gloves. “And, I know this is your first time back into training, so I’ll take it easy on you, too. Just so no accidents happen.” The blonde dropped her smile as the other woman stepped into the ring, both of them approaching the center together. “If anything gets out of line, just shout and we’ll stop, okay?” The blue-eyed woman watched the other nod, both of them meeting their hands for just a moment before getting into their stances. Almost immediately, 18 could see that Videl’s natural prowess as a fighter still registered in her mind, noting the tight and slightly turned form she took from the get go. Of course, she made sure to take another moment and watch just how tight the black-haired woman’s defense would be.
Unfortunately for Videl, her defense wasn’t tight enough to properly defend against the android before her, a soft gasp leaving her lips as she watched the gorgeous woman’s hand fly toward her face and slight right between her arms. Luckily, she was able to shift her head to the side and just out of the way of the punch before taking a step forward and throwing a punch to the blonde’s stomach. For just a moment in her mind, the new mother was sure she’d made contact with 18’s gut, only to realize in the next that it was immediately blocked. Though, a soft smile formed on her lips before she realized, bouncing back just a step as another fist came flying in her direction, toward the side of her head.
Android 18 only smiled as she threw her punch, knowing that Videl’s momentum was going to carry her out of the way just in time for her attack to miss. However, her eyes widened just a small bit as she noticed the other mother’s hand flying up to block the attack, but not having the speed to actually do what her reflexes were trying to make happen. So, instead of following through, the blonde stopped her punch midway and smiled as she took a step back and dropped her guard. “Well, just from three attacks between us, it’s easy to see that your instincts are still good and sharp. Your body is just too slow to react properly. I say we finish a three minute round and call it quits.”
Videl nodded a small bit before charging forward, knowing in the back of her mind that Android 18 would easily be able to keep up with anything that she could do. Throwing another punch at the blonde’s face and expecting it to be caught, which it was with ease. Almost immediately, the black-haired woman pulled her arm back and spun around on her toes, throwing her foot into the air and screaming as she threw a kick at the android. It didn’t matter in her mind if the blonde was able to block the attack or not, knowing that she was strong enough to handle the blow without taking any damage. Unfortunately, before she was able to connect the attack, the blue-eyed mother felt her hip pop from the sudden and swift change in motion, her face immediately contorting in pain as a scream of torment left her lips.
Catching the foot that flew at her face, Android 18 immediately dropped to the ground with Videl to avoid her getting hurt anymore and gently moved her leg down to the floor. “Videl!” The worry in her voice was easy to hear as she screamed for the other woman, gently running her hand along the black-haired woman’s legs to feel for any possible problems that she could help handle. Unfortunately, she was stopped before reaching the other mother’s hips, looking up to see a soft blush on the other woman’s cheeks. It became clear in her sense of concern that she had managed to bring a certain sensation through the other mother’s system, pulling her hand away and blushing a bit, herself. “Are you okay, Videl? Nothing out of place, nothing stretched, nothing-”
“I’m alright. I haven’t moved that fast, or even thought I could move like that since the last time I actually trained with Gohan. My hip just kinda… popped when I tried to kick you. I guess I moved too fast for everything to keep up..” The woman forced a soft smile, feeling a bit of pain and grunting quietly as she rose to her feet and held onto the ropes. “I’ll be alright after a good shower.” Videl’s blush only grew worse as she looked at Android 18, biting her lower lip for just a moment. “Do you mind following me to the showers to make sure I don’t fall?”
“Of course!”
