Naruto Pokemon chapter 276
🕑 Added 2025-01-24 13:23:40 +0000 UTCChapter 276: It's not Madara
"How about it? Ao, do you want to be the Mizukage?"
The playful and bewitching words of the 'Third Mizukage' silenced everyone present.
"Enough!" Kaito's loud shout broke the weird atmosphere.
"Come out! Madara! Are you still playing these boring tricks?"
As soon as Kaito finished speaking, a very strange laugh came from behind the group of Anbu led by Yagura.
"Hehehe~ Don't get excited. I can prove it! Yagura-sama is telling the truth~"
As the voice was spoken, a green-haired Anbu jumped out of the crowd from somewhere and stood between the two groups of people.
This guy is naturally not the legendary Uchiha Madara, but the Anbu codenamed "Madara", or the White Zetsu.
Kaito ignored this strange-looking guy and looked at Yagura, whose expression was slowly returning to calm, with disappointment on his face, and spoke.
"So, Yagura-senpai, this is what you said, for the sake of the village? To collude with outsiders for the sake of the village? Or to harm one's own people for the sake of the village?"
The disappointment in Kaito's eyes was not because of himself.
Although Kaito had some affection for Yagura, who had once tried to recruit him and who remained gentle and gentlemanly even after the recruitment failed, it was not very deep.
At this moment, Kaito was disappointed for Zabuza who was still covering for Ao in the front-line camp.
Although perhaps because of the bond with Team Ao, Zabuza may not regard Yagura as his only and most important bond as he did at the beginning.
But Zabuza still admires Yagura very much in his heart and regards him as the sun of Kirigakure.
His biggest wish has always not been to become the Mizukage, but to become one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, join the Anbu, and become a direct subordinate of the Kage.
Zabuza also firmly believed from the beginning to the end that Yagura would eventually become the Fourth Mizukage.
Just before setting off on this mission, Zabuza, who participated in the pre-war meeting, spoke to Kaito with certainty.
"Jonin Yagura must have been controlled by the enemy's illusion just like the Third Mizukage!"
There were also a few people who awkwardly suggested whether they could be brought along for this operation to help rescue Yagura.
‘If Zabuza was here, he would cry, right?’
However, facing Kaito's questioning, Yagura, who had calmed down, simply spoke lightly.
"It's just that the winner takes it all. As long as I know that everything I do is for the village, that's enough."
"Madara", who was standing between the two groups, twisted his body strangely as he watched the two people talking to each other across him.
"Yo~ It was you who called me out, but you just left me alone like this. I'm so sad~"
The strange look on Madara's face interrupted their conversation.
Kaito also turned his attention to the other person.
"This one, Madara….”
However, Kaito had just opened his mouth when he was interrupted by Madara.
"It's not Madara~ Madara is just a code name~ I have my own name~ and I'm not an outsider~"
As he spoke, Madara slowly took off the mask on his face, revealing an ordinary face, and tilted his head to look at Kaito.
???
Kaito didn't know what the other party was doing.
'What is not an outsider?'
Unexpectedly, after taking off his mask, "Madara" looked sad when he saw Kaito's puzzled expression.
"Huh? You don't recognize me? I'm so sad~"
"What if this is the case?"
As he spoke, his green hair slowly turned black, and the tone of his voice changed, becoming a little arrogant and sarcastic.
"Hey, Kaito! You better put away your fake smile."
Upon hearing this, Kaito's pupils suddenly shrank, and then he spoke slowly with some disbelief.
"Iwara Ashito!!" ( The guy from 1 chapter who fought against kaito )
That’s right! At this moment, this White Zetsu, apart from his height, is also very good in appearance, demeanor, and voice tone!
It was Iwara Ashito, a classmate of Kaito in Ninja School, who should have died in Zabuza's graduation exam!
"Hehehe~ That's right~ It's a Zetsu"
White Zetsu, or Iwara Ashito's voice returned to its previous shrill and strange sound.
At the same time, the body changed again. The flesh color of the skin faded and became pale, and large and small pale aloe-like spikes slowly grew on the torso, arms, shoulder armor, etc. The two arms were raised to the top of the head in a strange manner, posing as an aloe branch.
"How was it? Are you surprised?"
Looking at White Zetsu who was twisting his body with a smile, Kaito felt a chill all over his body.
It’s not because of the other person’s appearance that makes people feel the uncanny valley effect.
It was because Kaito had never thought that he would have contact with a terrifying existence like White Zetsu at such an early time.
And from a higher perspective, if the 'Iwara Ashito' is White Zetsu, then how many people in the Kirigakure Village are White Zetsu, and how many inconspicuous White Zetsu are there who are disguised as people? !
‘System! Is this the kind of fight you mentioned about snatching lollipops from kids? ! ! !’
Looking at Kaito's pale face, covering his chest and taking a half step back in disbelief, the White Zetsu twisted even more unscrupulously.
However, the next moment.
"Bang!"
There was a crisp sound of air explosion.
The air waves were flying and sparks were flying.
Ao, Kisame and others were all pushed several meters away by a violent wave of icy air.
Because Kaito, who was standing next to everyone before, suddenly launched an attack and appeared in front of Iwara Ashito as if teleporting.
Kaito, whose whole body was surging with white flames, had already entered the 'Flame White Mode' at this moment. After accelerating and bursting out, he punched hard.
"White Style: Ice Fist”
The moment the fist with white flames rising from it hit Ashito, it broke him into a V shape and smashed him to the ground. Fireworks exploded and a layer of white frost quickly formed on the ground.
At the same time, the white flames quickly spread over Ashito's body, freezing most of his body into ice.
Before, after Kaito called out White Zetsu, the opponent dared to walk to the front without any defense, so Kaito was ready to launch a sneak attack on the opponent.
Although he was indeed shocked by the other party's identity as 'Iwara Ashito', he didn't retreat with his hands on his chest.
Kaito just took the opportunity to activate the speed increase of 'acupressure' and adjusted the starting posture.
Then, at the moment when White Zetsu twisted his body and his vision was diverted, he directly activated the 'Flame White Mode' and burst into acceleration, intending to kill the guy who controlled the Third Mizukage with one blow.
However, at this moment, Ashito, who was pressed to the ground by Kaito, with the cold white flames already spreading to his neck, still had a strange smile on his face.
"The illusion will not be dispelled~ I already said, I am not Madara~ I am Zetsu~"
