Cel shaded Cheryl Tunt! & diary style updates & morning vlog for yesterday
🕑 Added 2019-05-03 15:00:03 +0000 UTCI always get a few requests whenever I post a carol/Cheryl/Cherlene to do a cel shaded version.... Hopefully this'll do for now haha
I'd love to make a full blown version but it's a tonne of work and I'd never even wear it to a con haha bcs Cheryl cel shading is very specific (borderlands cel shading works better at different angles/live for instance). I also enjoy making some cosplays of animated characters be as real life looking as poss which is another reason I didn't do cel shaded at the start FYI.
But in the meantime I quite enjoy this little makeup cos test I did for the classic lsd gummy bears scene hehe. This was taken years ago but I just edited it last night, coming off a migraine at that, so extra proud haha.
Alap don't forget to vote for my next cosplay makeup look, can't decide which Game of Thrones lady!
Go vote here on my twitter
Last I checked Dany and Sansa tied for 2nd and Ygritte is winning?!
Sooooo, strap in haha
Yesterday was a bit of a bonkers roller coaster...
It was a rough start (see mini morning vlog here haha), but then I had a really decent hour or two. Pain levels weren't terrible, no massive migraine, and my muscle weakness was manageable so I was fairly ambulatory today. But then I had to take Dewen to the vets and all hell broke loose. Reagan was helping a ton obviously but the trip used way more spoons than I thought it would and I got hit real bad the last 10 minutes at the appointment. Trying to make decisions about stuff I can't afford with a huge cloud of cognitive issues lowering is not a fab time. I just had my head in my lap whilst waiting, but then when the vet would come back my body would non consensually pounce into ๐ถTHE SHOW MUST GO OOOOOOOOOoooooooOoooOOON๐ถ and I'd look okay for 20 seconds, they'd leave, and I'd crash even harder with my stabbing pain behind my eyes keeping pace to my heart thudding in my ears hah. Ride home is a blur, at once point I started greying out and falling near the elevators and raigen had to catch me whilst holding dewens carrier and I bet he was wishing for a couple functional gingers right then ๐ poor bastard. Anyway so then and I sent him ahead down the hall with dewen so she could be home asap ("no no ry aye gud have wall see wall no fall I slide all good" terribly convincing I'm sure, it took me like five minutes to inch my way down the hall and I've been a bit dead since then
Gold star if you guess what's on my shirt!
It was a real bad one so I know today is gonna be tough too but at least I got it chilled enough to edit one thing before I died again ๐
However i just wanted to share how fab that hour or two of okayishness was... Maybe just bcs the last few weeks set the bar so low it was underground haha but I felt clear and capable and I even had a silly little jam out moment dancing to eye of the tiger when it came on and lipsyncing into half a pepperette I was eating ๐
I know it's easy to take a few seconds like that for granted but when you capabilities get suddenly limited "fun" is the first area to go. And then when every ounce of your very limited energy is poured into work or basic hygiene.... For over a year... It's really hard to let yourself "waste" it on frivoloties. Like what if I jiggle wrong and tweak my hip and I can't walk for two weeks again, or I lose my balance and slip and catch myself but wretch my arm? BUT I DIDN'T LISTEN TO THOSE FOR A SEC and it was an organic moment, I was cautious (like I just wiggled on the spot haha), but it had been about 6 months since the last time I danced for fun like that so IT WAS A BIG WIN and I wanted to share it me mates ๐๐ค๐ค๐
OMG ANOTHER WIN one of the vet techs freaked at my coat (barely in the door and I hear "Omg is that lining what I think it is..." and I was like oh BB yes it is, and swxilh opened my coat and she's all "TARDIS STARRY NIGHT?! Aaaaaah"
'ahem so uhhh you like doctor wjo?'
"I mean what no of course not clearly"
'omg I kno whoviams who amirite?'
.... So anyway I have the same Doctor Who Tardis coat in a size bigger, I used to wear it as my winter coat with a big sweater underneath. But I haven't been able to in the last couple of years because of disability, but I love it so much it broke my heart to have it not go to a good home...
so I asked for her email so I can send hwrtt the size details and see if it would fit her, she was freaking her shit out! So maybe I made a new awk af nerd friend WHO ALSO CLEARLY LOVES ANIMALS?!
Hahah that reminded me she like apologised for nerding out and I just look at her, look at raigen's Canadarm shirt, my doctor who coat, and I'm like I think you're good ๐๐
Anyway, today was 68% hell, which is a far lower percentage than average and I'm real chuffed about the lil good bits in the middle :)
OH and dewen updates:
still waiting on meds from the vet but it was either another $200 blood test, or another $400 xray, or educated guess at either antifungal or allergy but the catch is the treatment for one makes the other worse AND I HATE GAMBLING ๐ so anyway, pray I made the right educated guess?
Should know in a couple of weeks but in the meantime got a shampoo to help her itching but I've never washed either of them so I'm really nervous... So much of her health issues are tied to her stress levels, and she's such an anxious Kitty. I'm worried if I figure out too much with the bath it'll just flare up a ton of other stuff ๐
And yes I'm aware she's basically a cat version of me ๐the irony is not lost ๐
PS making this update public, but FYI normally these types of text or chill vlog style updates are for patrons only, but any and all (even potato tier 0)!
PS I wrote this last night but scheduled for morning so like I attempted for it to make sense as being read on Friday but if the tenses mix up that's why haha
