Oh boy that was not on the agenda: double broken gingers
🕑 Added 2018-12-10 11:10:45 +0000 UTC In case you didn't see in my lens the other day, long story short, I had a bad fall on the ice Thursday. Had to cancel my shoots Friday (the ones we worked so hard on putting the looks together for) and I was actually considering going to emerg Friday it was so bad. For reference I've been in the hospital a lot and I literally don't remember the last time that was my it was my own idea haha) Thankfully I've only sprained/pulled stuff, but on a body with joint and nerve issues like mine, that can be incredibly brutal.Today has been the first day I could move on my own, at least being able to limp/shuffle myself to the bathroom is a tad less humiliating (but I tell ya, never thought my life would regularly involve laying there trying to weigh up if the pain in my bladder is worse than the pain getting up to go wee is gonna cause everywhere else 🙃)
And I've stated this before, but for anyone new - yes this is def gonna cause some extra delays with content but I always deliver. I appreciate everyone's patience, and I'm working as fast as I can to the best of my abilities to get the content out.
The extra delays are also bcs I'm making sure it's still content I'm proud of. We all know I could half-ass my work queue and half it done in a quarter of the time... But I'd like to think the majority of you pledged for my caliber of content/for support (and like butts obvs) as priorities over timely distribution.... Err right?
Anyway I don't have much in me right now for more updates, but I will give more detailed info and breakdowns with content details/delays asap (literally I haven't even had the energy to talk to my mum on the phone and tell her what happened, first few minutes of a functional brain and I go straight to patreon land haha)
Sigh imma be real fam I was already having a pretty rough week... This flare on top of trying to get replacement equipment set up (whilst I fall more behind watching my work queue build up) was really wearing me down and plus Dewen's quite poorly right now as well (had to switch her inhaler back bcs her breathing got worse, and she's got a paw issue so she's limping around as well... It'd be adorable if she weren't suffering 💔).
So tbh the pain levels from this fall and not being able to do any work, on top of everything, has been pushing my mental health a bit past my limits.
I've been trying to focus on resting and healing but it's not like I have much choice. I've been really out of it mostly sleeping or icing half my body, doubling up on meds, and stupid show binging to distract my brain from the pain (but also don't ask me about any of the shows I watched bcs I legit don't remember most of it haha)
I have some appts this week to hopefully aid in healing
I could just really do with like 57 gentle hugs, that'd be super... Anywhoodles I'm sure I will dust myself off and jump right back on the horse like I always do, figuring out alternative plans for January shoots, but right now I just go like drop-kicked by life harder than I was prepared and I'm listening to my body and taking a sec till I can actually get dressed without assistance hah

Sigh I mentioned in another comment I know this isn't a picnic for partners either *hugs*. And I definitely find it easier to share here, thank you for the encouragement! My beautiful wife has fibro and the stumbles that go along with it. Big gentle hugs. Take the time you need to heal up on the outside and the inside. Your fans aren’t just here for photos. Talking is just fine too. It might be carthedic for you to vent so vent away anytime.
