so my guess is that buddy was just having a time, threatened by first small bad guy(tm) so he kills him in self defense, not knowing the history and now because he was seen doing this by another person he's gonna go on a quest and discover that maybe,,, even though he's done bad things,,, he can be a hero after all

okay okay okay so track one has a gunshot, and the character of this song (and presumably the protagonist because it's the second track and the only character we've heard so far) has a gun that's out of ammo. so this man shot someone lol presumably the death we opened with in the first track. and for some reason this has made him a hero figure to S O M E O N E else
