I'm currently working on skills, controller and combat system. At first I thought about recording a video, but then I decided to just update the build, since it doesn’t take much time now. So, if you wish, you can try it! :)
1) Ragdolls: physics of bodies, which allows you to simulate the reaction of the bodies of the characters on the surface and objects.
- Added for NPC and player. Turns on when the character dies.
2) Controller:
- Added (corrected) consumption of stamina. With a low level of stamina, dyspnea is activated and the character cannot run / attack until he recovers 10% of the maximum stamina.
3) Skills:
- Added 16 skills that the player can level up through certain actions. For example, the skill "Athletics" is upgraded while running and reduces the degradation of stamina.
4) Fighting:
- Implemented a loss of health of the NPC when hitting it.
- Implemented the pushing of objects when hitting them.
- Implemented attack speed (delay between attacks).
- Implemented the reaction of the NPC to the player’s punches (sound, animation). Also added NPC death.
- Added hit boxes on the body of NPCs that affect the damage done by the NPC: head, torso, legs, arms. Each will have their own damage multiplier and their reaction.
- Fixed a bug when fist goes throught the objects (NPC body for example). Now the fist stops as soon as it touches the body / object.
