We are beginning this astrological week with the Equinox which occurred on Sunday the 24/09. In the northern hemisphere it is the Autumnal Equinox and in the southern hemisphere it is the Vernal (Spring) Equinox. Equinoxes occur when the Sun crosses over the equator. So at this point in time, the sun sits exactly between the hemispheres and day and night are equal.
Let's take a look at the current positions of the stars, how they are communicating to each other and how this is influencing us on the plane below.
This week we have Sun Trine Pluto bringing in harmonious and free flowing energies of change, rebirth and transformation within our outward personality, identity and ego. This may be experienced as a sort of purge of old characteristics that we have now grown out of and new traits are going to start emerging. On a more spiritual note, we may be feeling a sense of detachment to parts of ourselves that we were too controlling over or any unhealthy attachments to our ego. Overall, we are experiencing a comfortable and natural transformation of our identity and personality to bring forth the parts of our self that we may have previously been suppressing and masking with traits that did not express our authentic selves. With the Sun Opposing Neptune we see our spiritual nature is not fully integrated within our authentic self. Possibly we are more imaginative, creative and empathetic than we our outwardly presenting to the world through our personality therefore hiding our innate spiritual nature. work with yourself in this area on how you can further integrate all aspects of yourself.
Moon Conjunct Pluto is a short felt transit as the Moon travels very quickly in our sky but this transit is a reminder to tune into your emotions and needs at this time. This transit deepens and intensifies our emotions and needs calling us to be more attentive to our internal world. Furthermore, with the Moon Trine Uranus, at this time our emotions are being geared towards a strong desire to feel free in all areas of your life. You may feel an intense need for change either in your relationships or life as a whole. Avoid tying yourself down or caging yourself in at the moment and instead do something that makes you feel free and learn to be comfortable with your differences because they are what make you unique. With the Moon Square Mars we may feel at this time a challenge between our emotional feelings and needs and our actions and passionate desires. An example of this could be that you feel a strong need for safety and security so you tend to have an attachment to your home and possessions but you feel extremely passionate about travel and adventure and you want to leave everything behind and travel abroad.
With Mercury Trine Jupiter our mind is on the path of expansion during this time. We are feeling particularly interested in gaining new experienced through adventure and travel, meeting new cultures and opening our mind to new belief systems and philosophies. Our minds at the moment are greatly benefited by this aspect bringing optimism and positivity to our mental space and increasing our interest in advance subjects of higher knowledge.
Venus the feminine planet of beauty, love and values is Squaring expansive Jupiter. This aspect is continuing on from last week so here are some tips to help you with this transit:
