Shu Yu shook her head subconsciously, "Nothing is wrong."
The estate was initially being repaired little by little, but all the work was done in the name of Master Miao. Later, when Shu Yu and Meng Yunzheng found out that the owner of the black market was the Second Prince, they completely stopped the construction. They had not gone up there for several months. Since Master Miao was not doing well in his business and had no money, even Qin Lou Chu Guan had closed down, it was normal for him to neglect the management of the estate.
In early October, it was the one-year period they agreed upon.
At that time, Master Miao would sell the estate, and Meng Yunzheng would take over and start the construction, which would then be officially recognized.
Meng Yunzheng intended to expand this academy. In the future, their home would naturally have a place in the academy, and there was even a possibility that they would spend most of their time there.
Shu Yu's workshop and flower field were also located there. Most likely, the rooms in the academy would become their daily living quarters after they got married.
Meng Yunzheng was eager about this matter.
Shu Yu steadied her emotions and coughed lightly before saying, "I'll think about it later."
Meng Yunzheng continued holding her hand and walked forward. "Actually, your Yu courtyard is already good. You designed it yourself, and since you like it, we can just use the same design. It'll be comfortable and familiar for you."
Shu Yu shook her head, "No, Yu courtyard is my boudoir."
The tone and layout of it reflected her thoughts as a young girl, which she had dreamed about but couldn't fulfill. When she designed it, she only focused on making it beautiful, without considering other aspects.
But the marital room was different; it would be a shared space for both of them. Naturally, it had to be comfortable and convenient for both.
"We still have time. I'll think about it later. You can also think about what you need and tell me. We can come up with a design that we both like."
Meng Yunzheng smiled, "Alright."
The two looked at each other and began discussing the layout of the room in detail.
They were walking along the riverbank, and the river was quite long. Originally, it was a remote area with few people, but now it was becoming lively, and they gradually saw many people setting off lanterns.
Shu Yu was considering whether to buy a lantern to join the fun when someone suddenly bumped into her.
Meng Yunzheng's eyes were quick, and he pulled her into his arms.
The person who bumped into them almost fell to the ground but managed to stabilize herself after staggering a bit. Then, she turned around to scold them, "Why did you move aside? Didn't you see that I just..."
When she raised her head and saw Shu Yu, her scolding abruptly stopped. Her face changed, and she quickly took a few steps back, looking a bit nervous as she spoke, "So, it's midd Lu. Yes, I'm sorry. I almost bumped into you just now. I didn't mean to scold you. I'm sorry."
Shu Yu snorted softly, "You're acting quite arrogant. You almost bumped into someone, and you still act like you're right?"
The person's body trembled, looking like she was about to cry.
Shu Yu felt nauseous as she looked at her. It was as if she had bullied her or something. She furrowed her brows and scolded in a low voice, "Get lost." This person spoiled her mood.
The person's expression brightened, and she quickly ran away.
After the person left, Meng Yunzheng lowered his head to look at her, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
"Do you know that person?"
