Sister Qiu shook her head, "As long as we obtain the consent of the master."
Shu Yu sighed, "Master is being stubborn."
"So, the reason why the master disagrees is mainly because of Master Miao's actions, which are not considered righteous?"
"That's what the master said."
Shu Yu furrowed her brows, "Hasn't master considered using this as an opportunity to encourage Master Miao to do more good deeds and fulfill his sister's wish? This might give him a chance to move the lamp."
Sister Qiu fell silent for a moment, her expression complex. "Very few people have the chance to meet the master."
Shu Yu suddenly realized that her master was highly esteemed and seldom met with others. Even she, as a disciple, had only seen her master a few times, and the thought made her feel somewhat despondent.
"So, what you mean is that Master Miao has been visiting the temple every month for so many years, but he has never met the master in person?"
Sister Qiu nodded.
Shu Yu pondered. On one hand, she admired Master Miao for his persistence, and on the other hand, she admired her own master for being so elusive.
She started thinking about the situation. She couldn't guarantee or decide whether Master Miao sister's lamp could be moved to the ancestor's seat.
However, when her master returned, maybe she could help Master Miao by meeting with him. Then, they could discuss the possibility of buying the Black Market and selling it back to him under certain conditions.
She looked up at Sister Qiu, who suddenly felt a sense of unease.
Indeed, Shu Yu suddenly broke into a big smile and took Sister Qiu's arm.
"Sister Qiu..."
Her tone had a playful cadence, making Sister Qiu shiver, and she changed her address, "Miss Lu, please let go."
Shu Yu quickly said, "Don't worry; I won't do anything wicked. You know me; if I did anything outrageous, Master would never forgive me, right? You can rest assured about that."
"Really?"
"Of course." Shu Yu nodded confidently. "Look at my appearance; I'm a kind girl, right?"
Sister Qiu couldn't help but feel speechless.
"So, Sister Qiu, I want to ask Master Miao for help. Firstly, it's to make things easier for me, and secondly, it's to reduce his sins. But since I don't know Master Miao, he will definitely refuse to help me and might even harm me. So, before asking for his help, I need you to do me a favor."
Sister Qiu was starting to feel dizzy from her words. After calming down for a while, she asked, "What favor?"
"If, in the future, I bring Master Miao to the temple, could you confirm that the master is my teacher and that he cares for me a lot? What do you think?"
Sister Qiu furrowed her brows. She was not a fool and quickly realized what Shu Yu wanted to do. "You want to act without permission and have Master Miao meet the master first?"
"Sister Qiu, I'm inheriting my master's noble character."
"What character?"
"When my master informed the Shu family that I was not their daughter, she acted without permission as well." Although Shu Yu now understood that her master must have had a reason for doing so, it didn't change the fact that her master acted without permission.
Now, Shu Yu had her own reasons for doing this.
After all, there should be mutual understanding between master and disciple.
