The couple in the third branch of the Fan family was quite concerned about this matter. However, it was the first time for the kiln to make such a thing, so they were not familiar with the process, making it difficult to produce the desired result.
The third young master couldn't stay at the kiln all the time. He had other matters to attend to, so he handed the blueprints to the foreman and asked him to make it as soon as possible.
However, his attention only brought about unwanted attention from others.
This morning, Mei Shi suddenly brought a few people to see how the latest batch of porcelain had turned out. The foreman, who was completely focused on reworking the clay molds according to the dimensions on the blueprints, didn't notice their arrival.
By the time he realized there was movement around him, Mei Shi and her group had already approached him. She directly picked up the blueprints on the table and started looking at them.
The foreman, being the third young master's subordinate, was aware of some of the discord within the Fan family. Seeing Mei Shi approaching, he became nervous.
As expected, after Mei Shi finished looking at the blueprints, she said, "What a mess! The Fan family supports all of you so that you can work diligently. It's not an opportunity for laziness or personal gain."
The foreman hurriedly wanted to explain that it was an order from the third young master.
But before he could explain, Mei Shi swiftly threw both blueprints onto the nearby brazier.
The foreman was stunned and immediately rushed to salvage them. However, when he got around the table, he could only rescue one of the blueprints.
Fortunately, only a corner of this blueprint was burned, and the central design was still visible.
But in the next moment, Mei Shi poured a basin of water onto it and said while pouring, "Oh, you're on fire. Don't get burned."
In an instant, the foreman was drenched, and the blueprint he held became wet and torn into two pieces, with the design smudged.
Both blueprints were completely destroyed. The foreman felt like crying but had no tears. Mei Shi left the kiln with an indifferent expression.
The foreman didn't dare to do anything to Mei Shi and could only run to the Fan family to find the third young master.
However, Mei Shi had returned earlier and anticipated that he might come, so she instructed the gatekeeper to stop him outside.
It was fortunate that Xiaoyun happened to be leaving and encountered him; otherwise, they would still be kept in the dark about the situation.
Xiaoyun was so worried after hearing the story that she forgot about returning to the Ding family and hurried back to the Fan family. She ran towards the West Orchid Garden, wanting to inform Ding Yuehua about what happened.
However, Mei Shi had already been quietly informed by the gatekeeper, stating that the foreman had seen Xiao Yun and might not be able to stop him.
Therefore, just as Xiaoyun passed through the hanging flower gate, two maidservants from Mei Shi's side came to bother her.
Since Mei Shi was so brazen, she wasn't afraid of the people from the third branch finding out.
However, she had just returned and hadn't had a chance to put on a show for her mother-in-law. She had to file a complaint first and shift the blame onto the third daughter-in-law. This way, when the third daughter-in-law came to confront her, Mei Shi might be able to take advantage of the situation and make her stumble.
In doing so, she had to intercept Xiaoyun first.
This interception led to a conflict between the two sides. Xiaoyun had been with Ding Yuehua for many years and often traveled outside, so she was physically fit.
The two maidservants couldn't restrain her and were even pinned down by Xiaoyun.
When Mei Shi came over after applying eye medicine, Xiaoyun had already broken free.
At that moment, Mei Shi took a quick step forward, imitated Xiaoyun's hand movement, and fell to the ground. Then, she used the fact that Xiaoyun dared to hit her as a reason to have several strong maidservants capture and beat her to death.
Fortunately, there were other people in the courtyard at the time, including the maid who had come to inform Ding Yuehua.
After hearing the cause and effect of the matter, Shu Yu nodded, indicating that she understood.
