Look, the initiative has returned, hasn't it?
Mei Shi's face changed when she heard the mention of reporting to the authorities, and she couldn't say a word for a while.
Madam Fan wanted to speak up, but Shu Yu said, "Madam Fan, if you want to discipline your daughter-in-law and deal with your servant, can you wait until I finish asking my questions? After that, you can handle it behind closed doors. Right now, as the victim, shouldn't I first clarify the situation before anything else?"
Madam Fan was almost infuriated. This was her Fan family, and she was the one who planned to handle things behind closed doors. Shu Yu was the one who barged in by herself!! Now, she was blaming her for delaying her own affairs?
Shu Yu didn't care whether Madam Fan was about to explode with anger. She walked straight to Xiao Yun.
Seeing the two rough servant women who were still forcefully restraining her, Shu Yu frowned and said, "Let go, how can I ask questions like this?"
The two maidservants exchanged glances and involuntarily looked at Madam Fan.
Madam Fan sneered, "This maidservant Xiao Yun made a mistake. What if she escapes when we let go?"
"You have so many people in this courtyard, and you're afraid of a small maidservant running away? Isn't that too useless? Or is it that the Fan family doesn't even feed them properly?"
"You..."
Shu Yu squinted at the two maidservants behind her. "Still not letting go?!"
Immediately, Ding Yuehua signaled to the people behind her to go up and help.
But before they could step forward, Shu Yu had already reached out her hand.
She grabbed one maid's wrist, causing her to feel pain and quickly release her grip. The other maid, seeing the situation, could only take a small step back.
Xiaoyun, sweating profusely, flipped off the stool and took a long breath.
Only then did Shu Yu ask her, "What exactly happened? Weren't you supposed to go to the Ding family? How did you end up in conflict with the eldest young madam? And how were the blueprints destroyed?"
Xiao Yun glanced at Mei Shi, who sneered and curled her lips, seemingly not caring at all.
Even if she destroyed the blueprints, so what? What could they do to them?
Xiaoyun was furious and began recounting what happened after she left the house.
She was originally following the young miss's orders to return to the Ding residence. However, just as she stepped outside, she saw a familiar person pleading with the gatekeeper, asking him to help and let him meet the third young master and third young madam.
But the gatekeeper refused him, citing that the third young master was not at home and the third young madam was entertaining guests, so he couldn't come in.
Although the person claimed to have something very important to say, he couldn't take a single step into the Fan family.
Xiaoyun took a few steps closer and realized that this person was the foreman from the kiln.
She hurried forward, and the foreman's face lit up with surprise. But the gatekeeper's eyes shifted around when he saw her, clearly showing signs of guilt.
Xiaoyun didn't have time to think too much. The foreman seemed very anxious, as if something unexpected had happened.
The foreman immediately pulled Xiaoyun aside and the first thing he said was about the two blueprints that the third young master had sent a few days ago. One was burned, and the other fell into the water and couldn't be used anymore.
Xiaoyun was shocked. As Ding Yuehua's personal maidservant, she was well aware of this matter.
A few days ago, the father of the Village Lord, Mr. Lu Erbai, wanted to find someone to make porcelain, and the shape of the porcelain was on the blueprints.
At first, Mr. Lu Erbai didn't consider going to the Fan family, as he didn't need a large quantity. It was Ding Yuehua who overheard this and took charge of the matter.
After Ding Yuehua received the blueprints, she handed them over to the third young master of the Fan family.
The third young master personally took the blueprints to the kiln and had someone make the clay molds according to the drawings.
