FLEXI Scruffed Baby Dragon Keychain EARLY ACCESS
🕑 Added 2025-03-14 00:52:59 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
New little flexi keychain that I am so in love with! The 'scruffed' baby dragon that flops when you pick him up and I think it's just the cutest! I've been wanting to make a little flexi that's help up by the 'scruff' like a mama cat holds her babies but I just couldn't get one that looked and moved quite right to my liking-- Until this baby! I super love him and I think he's going to be my new cane keychain buddy <3

Printed some of these at 50% size with a .2mm nozzle, with a brim. They're hard to get off the print bed (press on their hips and space them out a bit more than the default or they're prone to breaking one another in collisions when getting them off the bed). A friend of mine who makes jewelry is turning some of them into earrings. If they don't sell out at shows that she vends at (I am disabled with a mess of kids, she's Dual Income No Kids, so she can get to a lot more events than I can) she might list some on her Etsy and link to me as the source of the dragons. Hope this little Biz2Biz doesn't throw your system too much. and wanted to share the idea with others. A small hair rubber band can also be poked through the hole at that size (I used a darning needle to get it through since the smallest crochet hook I could lay hands on wasn't fitting through the hole). I have one of the ones that broke a wing coming off the print bed dangling from the nose bridge of my reading glasses.

I'm going $5 for single color regardless of filament I use. The amount of waste generated doing multicolor gets to be too much for me, but when the weather warms up I remelt it in silicone molds for upcycled art (need to do that outside, the fumes bother my family).

Thanks yeah I do it as multicolour so it includes the eyes. I use a dual filament fir everything else which turns out stunningly.
Kirsten McKenzie
It varies depending on scale and if you do multicolor or single color. But I'd say anywhere from $4-10+

Yay!

Can I ask what you recommend to sell these for ( just to kids from my kids school and some parents)

So adorable, by any chance, do you have any like elk head not just the skull like the actual head with the horns and possibly like some flowers on the horns a way to make it small like maybe 4 x 4

Aww yay!
