It takes some balancing, but lock in the hip sockets and then bend the knees forward and then the joints will rest on themselves without needing to be tight.

i think its the knees. the ball joint right under the hip is a bit loose so it folds inward rather than staying up

Be sure to press the legs upwards into the hip sockets and they'll kind of snap into place to give it more stability! :)

I printed this gorgeous dino at 105% and i cant get it to stand up! it will without the head but if i put the head on it topples over

How did you get the tail to 300%, largest I can get is 140 on a build plate!

The painted brims worked swell actually! That’s my fault, sometimes I can get lazy with how good these printers are these days.

Hey Kekreations, I have tried every single trick in the book to get the body of this guy to print off and no matter what I try around the 80-90 layer the right arm chucks itself off the build plate. I've resigned myself to the fact that he'll just have some "battle damage" for the print that I'm running now, but I've tried different build plate materials, different speeds, glue, different infill types...any no matter what I do that right arm always flies off. I'm gonna try some painted brim ears and see if that'll go but the contact area of these arms is TINY.

So I use a brand new mini sd card and did the right things and still did it.i redownloaded the files too. I can print other things just fine except I noticed the chameleon did the same thing. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. Im going to try the egg to see if it’s something I’m doing wrong.

It seems like maybe the G-code got corrupted or something, did you try re-downloading and re-slicing to print again?

So Im trying to make the T-Rex and for some reason some of the prints just stop after the first layer, is there something I should be doing? I printed the tail and that was fine. Im going to try again.

Thanks! It's just Numaker's light gray and then a brown acrylic wash over it :)

Poly maker has some great military colors that would look great without paint. I love their olive green, army green and I can’t remember the name of the matte grey mix they have that I like.

I don't understand, "Some pretty up should secure him"? BTW, I love this design. I just had a customer requesting a T-Rex and had to tell him there weren't really any good designs out there. Now I can tell him there is!
