Kicking off spooky season early this year! I thought this flexi black widow spider would be the perfect fall/Halloween this year! She's so floppy and fun to fidget with and hold!
If you're not a fan of Halloween, don't worry, I'll still be having lots of my regular animal and fantasy themed models out the next couple of months as well! Just mixing in the spooky ones into my schedule earlier this year!
Print recs:
2-3 walls
5-15% infill
No supports
Add brim for small bits
Filament is D3D black (hand painted highlight) and D3D light brown

don't mind me over here...I'm just printing to see how tiny I can print them (movement isn't an issue) as I need to mail a text book to my daughter because she accidentally left it at home...might have to throw some 3d printed spiders and cockroaches in there just to surprise her LOL

I believe the little brown one I had was about 75% and still pretty flxi! Her joints are smaller than most of the other babies to keep the legs thin so they might get a lil stiffer going much smaller. I may try and work on a tiny baby spider eventually!

How small did you print this one down to? I have been able to get your baby animals pretty small at 50% for them and they still articulate pretty well but was not sure with this model

Haha yessss it is surprising! A lot of the photos you see are done from below them, but it's hard to tell when they're in their webs xD Some variations CAN have spots on their backs, but it's a less distinct pattern and not as common/signature :).
