I still hate fonts

OK so I solved the problem, it was just a unicode mapping issue. This one was easy because I had previously spent several weeks designing glyphs and generating new fonts, and I only had to do a replace command on the scale name to map special symbols to other glyphs.
This one was easy but I still hate fonts. When I see that empty rectangle in the printed rendering it raises my blood pressure.
I hope you are finding time this season to relax and spend time with people you love.
Cheers
Ian

Or at the very least, maybe you could collaborate or confer with the good folks over there at Notation Central. Just a thought... Have a great holiday!

Hey Ian, I haven't had a chance myself to play with this, and not sure if this even would help, but maybe try something like this? https://www.notationcentral.com/product/musglyphs/
