LONG LIVE TAYLOR HAWKINS. I’m a 20 year old drummer and I looked up to Taylor tremendously. Legends will never die

I was a 13 year-old bass player and coming back from skiing and got on the bus and they had a newspaper on the floor covered in snow and mud. I happened to look down and saw the headline "Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist Dies in Crash". I picked up that wet muddy newspaper read it and got teared up. 40 years later my ringtone is still Mr. Crowley

Consistency is what separates the average from the good and the great in whatever you're doing in life. It's like an athlete that you know will show up to play every game and that you can depend on them to come through. That's straight mental discipline like a Shaolin monk up in the mountains smoking the shit that killed Abraham Lincoln. Uncle Joey is consistent as phuck.

Saving this one for the after work reefer
