Pentel Rolling Writer. Smooth as silk, consistent, and fast drying. Bonus is you can make it draw lines just a tad thicker if you angle it. Sometimes you can find them by the dozen for less than a dollar a pen. I've had people swear by other pens that are similar, but they all smeared. I especially like that it doesn't die slowly. When it's done it's done. You might be able to lick the end and scratch out a couple more words, but that's it. (I'm not a waitress. I'm a trained remote viewer. There's a lot of writing and sketching involved.) Roll tide!

I’m a nurse, I get you, those G2 pilot are my pens too. I tried Zebra z grip but I don’t like them as well. It’s a sincere bummer when my favorite goes missing. My employer stocks those plastic grey pens too because they are cheap and disposable. I hate writing notes with those things, horrible.

I have a pen I stole from a waitress a week or so ago, ITS AMAZING, but it has no markings whatsoever, so I cant buy them myself....I only stole it cuz I wanted to get the markings from it to buy more...well, sorta, I stole cuz i wanted to also. LOL, Sharpie Gels are the second best fyi.

I work in an Emergency Room doing registration and use Pentel EnerGel RTX Retractable Liquid Gel Pen, Medium Line, Metal Tip, Black Ink. I've gotten a bunch of nurses and doctors in love with it too, so our ER pen usage is about 90% that type of pen lol

I hate pilot, their ink doesn’t dry fast enough and I end up with smear all over the edge of my hand. I use the bic gel-ocity quick dry retractable, I carry 4 colors on me for my orders (when bills are split I ask who’s with who and write each order in a different color ie: green ink is granny and papaw pink is aunt and uncle with their kids blue is mom and dad and this kids etc). But we have a big jar of loose regular cheapie bics by the CC machine to stick in with the cc slips the owner provides and honestly it’s probably the cheapest but nicest gesture I’ve seen from higher-ups for wait staff. I never lose my good pens at the place I work now bc of that.

I’m a nerd so I write with a Lamy safari fountain pen with a bleach proof, laser proof, water based ink. But hell if you’d ever catch me using it at work. I like to go to the local sociology department and steal theirs, the business school also has high quality pens.

Funny story, I got fired from my security job at Walmart because someone was stealing stuff and I tackled them. We are not allowed to touch them but this person was constantly stealing so I said screw it. They were stealing makeup and a bunch of sharpies 🤣

Give them garbage pens and they take my favorite the one time I'm low and have to give it away haha. I eventually switched over to a fat thick pink pen that looked luck a vibrator and surprisingly nobody ever tried to steal it 🤣🤣🤣 also I could read it outside in the bright sun or inside in the dark.
