My family too, haha. They're from Kentucky and my grandfather would make squirrel and opossum regularly. It did not go over well when the younger cousins found out exactly what they'd been eating at mawmaw and pawpaw's house. 🤣😭

I rarely ever eat meat, but got to say I don’t want pink or red on beef if It gets served to me at an event or fundraiser. Also think the people that consume hot dogs & scrapple belong in Restaurant Jail! That is like eating trash off the floor!

You tell them Tim! I prefer my food well done. I have a hard time eating anything that has a pink center, in my mind it's not done being cooled and I feel I'm eating raw food. Yeah, I know it's not but I can't get it passed my mind it's good to eat.

As much as I do prefer medium rare over well done, it's just that A PREFERENCE! People can like things different than you! It's like for burgers, restraunts are allowed to ask how you want them cooked, people prefer them medium rare where I, on the other hand, prefer it cooked how the FDA recommends to prevent food poisoning well done. And before someone asks why the FDA recommends well done for burgers and is more lenient with steaks, its because when you cook a steak, you are killing all of the surface level bacteria, but as soon as you grind the seak to make ground beef, all of that surface level bacteria is now mixed throughout the whole patty.
