I'll judge for myself whether I like Godzilla Minus One and The Holdovers when I see them of course but I fully agree with Ryan about how these days anything with even a bit of competent storytelling and absence of political messaging gets hyped to the moon. I remember last year and the one before it Top Gun: Maverick and Ford vs Ferrari getting hyped to death and I just found them middling 3 out 5 movies personally.
