Dobermann Pinscher gun

I’ve spent the past few weeks learning how to cut and sew leather and make armour and a mask. Working with leather is fricken cool and there are so many detailed patterns online! The only downside is that it’s extremely expensive. I feel very fortunate to have your support in times like this because I can actually afford to buy materials! I found this very beautiful almost iridescent silver leather which I’m very obsessed with. I also love the smell of it.
I decided to go for a Dobermann pinscher design. You all had very compelling arguments as to what animals a gun woman should be. I thought the idea of police dogs was compelling. I also didn’t know that gun owners sometimes thought of themselves as “sheepdogs” protecting the sheep. I think I could push the “gun” part of the costume a bit further but I tied in the bullet wound design from the gun shirt.
I bought these crazy inflatable toy machine gun pool toys which I think might amplify the absurdity of the costume.
I’m a bit self conscious about this outfit because it’s so insane but I think I need to just lean into it! I have to film but I’m scared…I will muster up the courage and be accountable. I’m going to try and film this upcoming week ahhhh

Girl, you helped me so much with this design so it makes sense it looks like how you pictured it in your head! It was totally by accident that it ended up being Joan d'Arc styled, I just kept on looking up armor designs and it happened like magic.

I absolutely love it!!! When I was picturing this one in my head from the description, it pretty much looked just like this! Although I gotta say I love the plate armor design so much more than the robocop type future soldier look I was thinking of. I think the ears are actually my favorite part, the guns are so adorable as ears, weirdly! I'm just a sucker for a girl in a suit of armor, espcially with the bullet wound over the heart it's giving me heavy Joan d'Arc vibes and I'm absolutely living for it. I'm really excited for this one, good luck with the filming!
