What are your thoughts on e-girls?

I recently had an encounter where I was trying to explain to someone from the art world why I feel accountable to people who support me on the internet. It was hard to express that the art world has always been sort of a fairweather friend to me and that nerdy people on the internet are the actual reason I'm still able to make art—specifically, video art which is not commodifiable and able to be sold at a gallery.
I'm also able to relate to you on a personal level. For example, if I post about being insecure about hair, you will comment about your personal relationships to body hair. To me, that connection is sacred. These kinds of conversations are diluted in the art world because everything needs to be intellectualized.
I would say I am a sort of e-girl hybrid. My art is always sensual in some way but I have connections to other communities so I'm probably less isolated than most e-girls. However, I'm much less prolific so I don't have the same reach, financial stability, and power. I also don't post explicit content which gives me a layer of protection although I do experience frequent harassment.
If you've seen my "Internet Girl Confessions" video, you will know that I deeply value the kind of unsung geniuses that make strange sexy content. I want to make a video about them but I'm curious about your thoughts. Do you have hot girls/guys/people you follow on the internet that you admire? Why specifically are they hot to you? What is your working definition of an e-girl? If you have conflicting emotions I'm very open to those as well, I think the topic has a lot of grey areas. I'm excited to hear your thoughts! I'm hoping it will help me figure out my script.
P.S. I recommend watching the movie "Cam" on Netflix. It's a horror movie about camgirls made by a woman who was a camgirl for 10 years. She started making the film as a documentary but the story was so disturbing, they made it into a horror movie. Don't watch the trailer! The opening scene is important and the trailer gives it away.
P.P.S I'm OBSESSED with white tights, they are the cutest and hottest look to me right now. I am ballerinacore all the way. I'll take some cute photos in them and hopefully have an outfit with them in my next vid.

I appreciate this nuance. I think it's easy for me to get into terms and want to pin down what I think an e-girl is. I also follow a lot of hot people online and I'm not sure what about them is so appealing, probably their uniqueness.

I've never heard of them before but I just followed them on Twitter! They are really cool and a great voice actor wow. I actually think I came across their goth gf ASMR years ago.

at this point im not really sure what id consider an egirl. one of my friends will sometimes go through my twitter likes when we're in a call and make fun of me for liking pictures of 'egirls' but i never really consider them egirls myself. His definition is basically any girl who posts pictures of themselves online but 'egirl' to me feels like a lewd and derogatory term so it feels rude to label anyone with it who's not being purposely sexual in some way. I don't really like my definition though, I think I agree more with the other comment saying it's a style of makeup, with the heavy nose blush being a defining trait. I do have hot people i follow and admire online! idk what to say on why theyre specifically hot to me without just listing what i find attractive about women in general but they do always have fun/interesting personalities

I'm a fan of Dude That's Lewd (DTL), who does ASMR and produces some of the best erotic audio that I can find. There are plenty of great ASMRtists out there, a lot of whom can be found on YouTube, although for obvious reasons they don't do NSFW/Lewd/Explicit content. There is also a lot of NSFW/Lewd/etc. audio content, e.g. on P Hub, although I can't usually find any that _tingles_ me (no ear-to-ear or whisper/soft talk, limited use of binaural mics, etc.) DTL is one of the very few creators I've found that fits into the venn diagram overlap of Good ASMR + NSFW
