Latest Patch News - Mod Issues

As most of you may already know, the game has released a beautiful patch that enhances performance and speeds up loading times with DirectX 11. However, there is an issue with this update concerning custom icons in Mods and custom in-game photos, paintings etc, which may not be compatible with DX11.
This issue causes custom pictures to appear as llama images or as "?", and currently, there is no feasible solution as this problem likely originates from EA's side. Until a fix is available, I recommend using DX9 by launching the game with it. If your game automatically launches with DX11, you can switch to DX9 in your game's directory in: Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\bin\ TS4_DX9_x64.exe
The other, easier method is to check DirectX 9 in the Graphics Setting!
Until EA resolves this issue, I will not be able to provide support for missing textures. Unfortunately, the best I can do is recommend using DX9 to launch the game.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure for the Mod List. Had to make an additional status for mods that are ok with DX9, but not with DX11 lol

With DX9, they should be fine, yes. With 11, unfortunately, no.
