I’m thinking that Randidly uses his favor very soon to get in on the deal. Either to get the Fatepiece or to be allowed to examine the Penance, which he will then use to create his own penance which he will use to convince the Nether King to give him the Fatepiece willingly. It’s not like Randidly can use it right now anyway.
