There is an array that keep them close, don’t forget you can put the entire solar system between the earth and the moon, and white dwarf are smaller then the sun, so assuming that it’s mor like few millions of km

The thing about space battles like this is it makes it seem like space is small. Even with an array and them being white dwarfs there should at least be a billion of miles between them. 3.7 billion miles from the sun to pluto for example.
