Orc huts WIP
🕑 Added 2022-02-04 11:42:51 +0000 UTCLadies and gentlemen,
here's a little update on what I am going to call the "orc huts" for short as a working title.
I needed to update the simple hexagonal wall shape which I did a couple of years ago, to reflect the changes I did with the roof geometry.
There I added an extra shape space for the rafts/beams that would hold the roof material in place. That way I could either just have it better textured or even add ornament elements like in the pic with the roof.
So now the walls also have this shape space included which will improve the look and make it much better to texture.
I think I can start playing around with texturing the walls now! I have a couple of looks I would like to do but I will start with the simple leather walls first. That way I can reuse the texturing approach of the roof I developed back when I started this originally.
That's it for this week. Until next time, stay safe and keep building :)
Chris
