Gun boat prototype
🕑 Added 2018-09-05 06:16:13 +0000 UTC The white build prototype is coming along very nicely. Last month I had time to do some fine tuning of the geometry of the hull. So right now I am very happy with the results. The mast is more of a rough sketch at this stage. I intend to have the deck texture indicate where the mast is, in case you don't need a mast (or it is in the way of figure movement). Then I want to make a mast, sail and ratlines combination, that will be removable, but will improve the look of this ship - both on the gaming table and in the display shelf!
I did a quick texturing sketch on the white build and once I see the way it should look, I can imagine what it will be like once textured. I am planning to do a light wood hull with dark details and the reverse and then some color variations. If you have ideas or wishes of different looks/skins, let me know. Now is the time!
So without further ado, I will jump into texturing phase!
Happy building,
Chris
