Today's blog is rather about game size. I noticed that some players have been having issues in how big the file game is. Though it is still in its early production, it already has reached over 950 MB. After doing research and experimenting on couple of options, I finally found a way to compressed everything by sacrificing 10% of the game's image quality.
Compressing all audios
compressing all images, sprites, and backgrounds:
As a result, the file that is used to be 932 MB
Now it has become 427 MB:
Sacrificing 10% of the image quality is worth it for the long run, don't you think?
I hope this news delivers a happy thought.
-Cheers!
