your vlogs zach are worth more than a million "reaction" videos to me....how about a vlog like a day in the life of Zach and Alastair...showing what a typical day is for you two...

I've got a video regarding the firefighter technique to carry someone: https://www.tumblr.com/thetursithan/778562392860884992

Speaking of being social, in our post COVID world, here is a timely quote from our book this month: “Once or twice each week A Gathering of Earthseed is a good and necessary thing. It vents emotion, then quiets the mind. It focuses attention, strengthens purposes, and unified people.”

Dude, I cracked up every time the bottle clocked one of you!

Thanks for the fun vlog! The best memoir I ever read is A Heaven in the Eye by Clyde Rice. It won the Western States Book Award for Creative Nonfiction and was the author's first book, published when he was 81. Fortunately he lived to age 94 so was able to enjoy his success as a writer. A and Z, it's good to write now while you're young but of course, it's never too late!

Let 2026 be the year of writing ✍️

That’s probably a great idea for us. Thanks, Ian!

Brando was the winner of the games. Great winter storm video.

Alastair has the best collection of knitted jumpers :). One of my favourite memoir authors was Augustin Burroughs especially his love stories with his first partner when he was young. Maybe book club next year could include Running with Scissors, or Magical Thinking?

Awwww what great fun and sharing. You two made me laugh and made my eyes sweat (just a little). Beautiful tree, btw. I'm writing a memoir too, mostly for myself. It takes me back to all the things I felt and how time has changed those. Happy 2026. GO HOGS, er I mean BAMA, oh hell, both. Peace.

Lovely video. I resonate a lot with that situation around trying to meet new people as an adult, I found the Meetup app to be wonderful for joining established local groups where you have at least one common interest and discover all kinds of in-person or online social circles, from book clubs to life drawing groups to gay rowing clubs to dungeons and dragons groups, you name it, it's there lol.
