It's hard for me to suggest movies to people as everyone's tastes are different. For the most part, I barely watch anything new. It feels like a chore to discover new movies. At least with slasher movies I know what to expect. I usually watch the same things over and over that I grew up with. For example, 70s and early 80s movies. Nine to Five, Seems Like Old Times, Clue, Network, Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, Halloween, Poltergeist and most Hitchcock movies I can quote verbatim. I would rather binge watch old TV shows rather than start something new. Roseanne, Gimme A Break, Arrested Development, The Golden Girls, and ER I have seen hundreds of times. When VHS was a thing, I discovered movies by going to Blockbuster and watching HBO and Cinemax. Once streaming took over, it seems like my interest dropped.

I feel like we would need a weekly movie club to get through such a fantastic long list of movies together ππ

Bradley and I have an idea. Given how much Zach hates musical but love Gaga, we should do all 4 versions of A Star is Born - Gaynor / Garland / Streisand / Gaga quadruple threat!

Okay so I was out tonight at my favorite gay bar in Palm Springs and they play show tunes: we cannot exist as a gay movie club without hello dolly, Barbara or Cabernet Liza or Chicago, or even Mamma Mia two with Cher, Zach I know u donβt love musicals but in my day these are the icons.

I quote Clue all the time

Oh, and "Mrs. Winterbourne" with Brendan Fraser, Ricki Lake, and Shirley McClaine.

After "Grey Gardens" you should watch "Jackie" starring Natalie Portman.
