I have been trying for over a week, but I cannot get this video to play. I don’t have that trouble with any other video on Patreon but this one. I’m sure your reaction is great, but for some reason I’m not being able to see it.

You've got to remember that at this point in queer history (the 1950's), it was dangerous to be outed. Your career, freedom, sanity, life, was put on the line if you were found out. As horrible as it is to have thrown Caroline under the bus, I can't blame any of them for doing it. Self preservation was your only option.
