Alastair, you seriously could do ASMR videos. Your voice is so gentle, kind, and soothing. This was a fun listen. I have to admit, I didn't read the book, but it was nice learning about it!

I agree thinking more about it - it was a lost opportunity to put down or counter the homophobic comments from the ex. But then I would be surprised that either John or Ryan were well versed in standing up to fear and hate. I thought Ryan handled the child well but Cynthia and her husband needed to be better put in place

Yes, I do agree that Romantasy has taken over the BookTube & Twittersphere. But it does make a gorgeous fun listening on audible for some of us with LONG commutes. Let me knownif you’d like to know what I’ve heard lately, Alastair (or anyone else).

I thought of you with the leg, strangely enough I don’t usually read or watch love type stories. However think I enjoyed it a bit more because of the add ins, the murders, fire and I didn’t mind how he worked the kids in etc…I agree he wrote them getting together well, I felt sorry for you being where ever you are without Zach during the intimate scenes. He did make the homophobic stuff with his ex a bit extreme.
