OMG! Shelter is one of my favorite movies. I've seen it many times. It's a go-to flick for me.

I agree Better Than Chocolate is a fabulous film! Also features Sarah McLachlan's song of the same name if I recall correctly. Little Sister's is the store and it was so important to me in the late '90s as I was coming out. I lived just a few blocks away for a year while working in Vancouver

Idk if you have ever seen it, but Better Than Chocolate, was a great film, it also happens to be based on a famous book store here in Vancouver Canada and their legal case for LGBTQ+ books crossing the border
