In other news, I've been kind of working on a proof of concept game thing to see if I can stitch together a working 2D platformer. So far I got movement and shooting down. :D

But see, the free slots would still be considered raffle like. At least I would think so. And I do have commission discounts! Was one of the first things I added ^^ Someone else recommended exclusive streaming but I don't know if Picarto would support something like that. Another was having a patreon discord server. I'm not sure though.

Yeah, since I don't have any platforms, I didn't really have anything to gauge the jump height after. I'll adjust it once I get further. The "issue" is news to me! I'm using the Paper2D template provided so I'm surprised that it's in there

Yikes, Samus jumps a lot higher than I remember. ;) The jumping feels pretty good so far! I like how momentum is conserved but you still have mid-air control. It's hard to tell exactly what it's really going to feel like without platforms to hop on, but so far so good! One little "issue": was building it with VR support intentional? The OVR/SteamVR support libraries are there and it is definitely launching the Oculus software when I fire it up (no output on the HMD, though).
Maybe comission discounts with rewards? Thats usually one of the most common I see. I don't know how busy you are to offer limited slots for say free sketches or maybe short looping animations?
