Connecting to the Discord Server

You've pledged and the Discord Server isn't showing up on your side-bar when you open the app or visit the website? Try this to fix the issue:
1. Head to the settings page here on Patreon and head to Apps < Discord. Make sure you've connected your Discord Account here.
2. Log in and out of your Discord account.
If this didn't fix it, you still can't see the server anywhere when you open the app or visit the Discord website, or you haven't been assigned the role you pledged for if you did manage to join, send me a message here and I'll see what we can do to resolve the issue. Until then you may join via this link:
The bot managing the roles in the server may not recognize you when you join and thus won't assign you the role you pledged for. If that happens, I would do the first two steps again so that your Discord and Patreon accounts are linked correctly before joining to avoid further issues down the line.

I'm sorry, but you're in the server and you have a role., so I'm confused as to what exactly the issue seems to be. I sent you a message here and on Discord, neither of which you replied to. Please reply if you still keep having issues with the server as I'd like to solve them as quickly as possible so you may enjoy the art you paid for ^^

When you pledge you should automatically get connected to the server, given you've connected it through the settings page here on the site. Direct invites aren't ideal since Patreon's bot on the server managing the roles isn't going to know which Patreon account which Discord user is connected to, so isn't going to give you the role you pledged for. I wish it worked better or that there's something more I can do to get people to see the content easier. As to why I don't post everything here, it's absolutely a reasonable question, and it's something I'd like to do since I understand the hassle it is to connect to a separate server. Thing is, ultimately, that the art I make is, let's say, not the most suited to be hosted on the site, to put it lightly. To not water down some of the aspects of my art that people enjoy me depicting just for the sake of me being able to upload it onto the site, and to avoid risking getting into hot waters with Patreon, I had elected to post the majority of my work on the server. All of the work I do I do post on Subscribestar without the need for a server, since that site's more lax in regards to the content you're allowed to post on it. Patreon can be a bit more strict in that regard and, again, to avoid risking getting into trouble with Patreon, I have to find a middle-ground and post the work I do on the server instead. I know it's not ideal, I do, but it's a compromise I have to play by if I want to have a page here on the site. I may test the waters and migrate more of the work onto the site gradually, but it may take a bit of time for that to happen and until then, the server is necessary. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
