Getting the ground tiles ready
🕑 Added 2018-04-20 15:21:21 +0000 UTC Last weekend I created a whole set of ground tiles and this week I was planning to make some large battle maps with them. Unfortunately I found that when I was tiling the together digitally, the borders had some artifacts that I did not see before. So this week I had to go back and rework all the ground tiles so they would better support the tiling. I hope to be able to make sound larger terrain files that I can print on an A0 printer. Later I want to rework them so I can offer them for battle map producing shops.
But today I finished the rework and made a little terrain area I can now use to showcase smaller building configurations. The printed files look great and I was having a blast creating this little piece of terrain ground for me. Between grass, roads and spaces there is not much you cannot do and I look forward to create more tiles in the future (like rivers, lakes, rocky terrain etc.)
Here is another shot I made today. I am very happy I was able to finish this, so I can make some fences next week before I release the new set.
