Love to hear it Ty, and yeah a DM could always do more than the standing and dying part, (I've played with a few too many that don't do much but that ahah) but adding it in as a game aspect with a roll can add in some spice, glad you like it :)

I love the idea behind instinct. I always try and have enemies behave a bit more cleverly than just standing in melee and getting cut to pieces, and this should be a great help :)

Thanks Francesco! That's awesome you got the right feeling from it. In the book's initial rule breakdown page I should say that Instinct is just a suggestion to Game Masters in case they want full control, but either way I hope some people have fun with it!

I just checked out the instinct trait and I must say that I find it really cool, it makes sense for an animal to think during a battle and decide to flee or change tactics, you should definitely include it in the next entries. Happy anniversary!
