Ok so anyone who's been here for a while knows that incest is a thing that happens in my uploads sometimes. I usually just stick to female x female but lately I've been warming to the idea of the demon characters doing whatever. Because why would they care?
But I'm wondering where the line is. Because under the right conditions I kinda like the idea of male x female incest. Hear me out on this...
The family dynamic for Sol, Labrys, Lumia, Char and etc feels like it's something that could happen there too. My friend Jikiri and I have debated the idea that Lumia would not only sleep nude in the same bed as Char sometimes but would also have sex with him.
Now I know how weird this sounds but I feel like it could happen. Labrys and Char are technically not related so there's nothing wrong there. But Lumia, having lived with Labrys and Sol for so long has basically become a second Labrys. And since nudity and sex happen so often in their house it just seems like it's something they would be ok with.
Since in my world, Splatoon characters have a built in birth control method in the form of the Storage Pouch, there is little to no risk of anything happening because of it. Which has always been the thing I've had a problem with when it comes to male x female. But with them there would be no issue. Once they're done the female would just need to empty her pouch and move on like nothing happened. Plus Lumia is sterile from her radiation so she's double protected from any accidents.
So my question is, if I were to do that, or at the very least imply it, would you guys have a problem with it? It's mostly just an inside reference between me and Jikiri but it would still be considered canon unless stated otherwise.

I personally wouldn't have an issue with this, since incest between fictional characters doesn't really bother me that much. As Geode mentioned, it makes logical sense considering that some species of fish mate with their offspring (the clownfish being a good example of this), so something like casual incest isn't something that seems far fetched.
