Next Month's Creatures!
🕑 Added 2023-01-30 13:40:56 +0000 UTCHope everyone made it okay through January, up here in the north (Canada) the deep snow and short days have at least given me more time to draw creatures. and prepare more pages for the bestiary.
Two coming up is the rodent-like Scavick and the insectile Ricalllisk.
The Scavick is a voracious pack scavenger, intelligent and adaptable to nearly all biomes on Sol'Kesh, this creature can be found pouncing on prey and fighting over the carcasses of recently beasts throughout the island.
The Ricatrillask though capable of a lethal slash, is more beneficial to the environment than its appearance would suggest. Climbing high into the tree tops to feast on parasitic fungus, though ready to drop on any unwary travelers if they disturb its feast.

It is intelligent enough for some tool use like ravens or some primates/monkeys but it won't be running around with a dagger... but a crafty DM could probably fit that in haha

Definitely more fish coming! With the fishing feature I'm creating a lot of smaller entries for fish to catch. But for larger encounters there's 13 listed so far, and there are some 3D modelled fish coming too in the coming months :)

Second question: those look like hands on the scavick. Is it tool using?

ooooh that's horrifying. I love it! Question: Since you're doing Fishy Fridays will we get some more fish models? I'm excited to chuck a critter at them on the open sea
