Situation Update 05

Geez, that's horrible! While my art is definitely weird and extreme, I do fundamentally believe in engaging in art ethically and having a strong separation between reality and fantasy. Which I believe most actual artists do, even with extreme art. Anything involving real people in that way is awful. I'm glad that they cracked down on that. I appreciate you letting me know, that definitely gives me a better idea of what's going on.

Yeah I think they've focused on censorship on Live-Action content. I see many Creators taking pictures of real people and editing them to be bloody or to become food, some even post pictures of dead people (real girls) on pixiv and they put their ip-QQs for sale and purchase. them (including pedophilia content (kids < 10) lol And some of those pages have disappeared recently. (*≧︶≦))(￣▽￣* )ゞ But Creators HS2, 3D, and drawing still post normally.

Thanks VindiKate! I like your suggestion as well! When you mentioned it before, it made me think that I could probably just host my content on gofile, as I have been with my animations, so that it's not, technically speaking, on Fanbox. That is currently what I would like to do to remain within the Terms of Service. And, I have thought about discord and I'm glad that someone has brought up my art there before! Currently, I'm not yet sure if I will make that step yet, but when I do I might bug you with a DM for that invite. I really appreciate the offer!

Glad to see a new update! Hopefully you can stick around on here with your content. I still think my previous suggestion is a good idea, other creators have been able to maintain their pixiv fanboxes as a payment platform while hosting their previews/full content elsewhere. On another subject, have you considered opening a discord server, or even joining a community that already exists on there? I am in one that is full of many guro fans that may be missing out on your content! (creators here have their own channels dedicated to their art, they may even have advice on how to get around this current predicament). I was actually provided a link to your pixiv by a member on that server a little while back. If you're interested I can send you an invite to the server if you can DM me via pixiv. (offer is open to anyone else interested too lol)

Yeah, I can understand why they do it for payment processors, but it is frustrating. It's so hard to tell where they will actually draw the line right now since I haven't seen anyone actively suspended yet. Which bodes well. But, their new terms seem to leave room to disqualify anything that isn't vanilla if they wanted to.

I've considered it, but I'm hoping I'll be able to stick around here since the platform works so well for me. Since my art is highly unrealistic and only features adult characters, I would like to think that Pixiv wouldn't be too worried about it.

could always move to subscribestar, they seem to be ok with guro and loli. (though apparently they take a long time to approve new accounts)

It is frustrating. I followed 14 guro creators' fan boxes and literally all of them are in the same boat as you, holding off not knowing what the new terms will mean. Hopefully Pixiv sees the drop in revenue and backs off a bit.
