Importing my Brushes to Procreate
🕑 Added 2025-05-28 23:29:49 +0000 UTCSeveral of you have asked me if my Photoshop brushes work on Procreate—so I did a bit of digging, and it turns out: yes, they do!
While not every single advanced Photoshop feature transfers over perfectly, the majority of brushes import just fine and work beautifully in Procreate’s engine. So if you’ve been wanting to try them out, here’s how you can get started:
✅ How to Use Photoshop Brushes (.ABR) in Procreate:
Download the .ABR file to your iPad (from Dropbox, Google Drive, AirDrop, email, etc.).
Open Procreate and go to your Brush Library (top-right paintbrush icon).
Tap the “+” button at the top right of the brush list to create a new brush.
Tap “Import” in the top-right corner of the Brush Studio.
Find your .ABR file in the file browser and tap to import it.
Procreate will automatically create a new brush set with all the brushes from that file!
